Under cooked food and dirty tables and disgusting bathrooms. Would not recommend
This is my go to place ! I love it. Great food for great prices. Such great staff, always friendly and welcoming and it just makes you wanna keep coming back!

Amherst Diner is a friendly restaurant with kind service and great food, cooked right in front of you. It offers a large parking area and seems kid-friendly. The biscuits and sausage gravy are highly recommended, known to be the best in the VA, WV, and even NYC area. The western omelet and chipped beef gravy are also delicious, served with perfectly browned potatoes and toast. The seating is a bit cramped but not intolerable, and the atmosphere is happy and relaxing. Despite being busy, the service is quick and attentive, with servers keeping coffee cups filled. The food is fresh and piping hot, though some dishes like the home fries may not be as crispy as preferred. Dining experience is consistently pleasant, making it a great stop for those in the vicinity, including visitors from Martinsburg, WV.
