My fiance and I stopped for the night in Winchester and decided to go to the historic district for dinner. We were so delighted to find this sushi spot; the owners were so charming and welcoming, the menu was incredibly thoughtful, and the food was fantastic.

Great in house made kimchi; just the correct amount of heat. The service was quick and polite. It was nice to be able to get inside on a warmish day, but they also have some nice sidewalk side dinning tables available.

We visited Awabi Sushi Bar located in the walk-able "Old Winchester" area of Winchester, Virginia.
Let me start off by saying this food was amazing! The sushi was extremely fresh and flavorful and most of their special sushi rolls had their own unique spin on tastes.
Our waiter was this muscular guy who had a fun sense of humor and offered selection suggestions. He was extremely attentive and was a great host.
Bathrooms were clean and safe, and the atmosphere was very laid back.
We will definitely be visiting this delightful sushi restaurant again soon!

Recent had dinner at Awabi. Sushi was so fresh and delicious, they have so many rolls it was hard to choose. Husband said the Ramen was very good as well. The owners are so nice, we’ll be back when we’re in the area.
The sushi!!!! I am always hunting for good sushi in Winchester area that doe not taste like it was frozen or old. This place was so good!
The hostess was very nice & had everything ready for take out. I usually have to check myself but she went through everything for me.
Only issue was soup packaging barely held up but it was OK since you can recycle it (less plastic).
We will be back!!!

Great place on the walking mall. Food and service is always stellar. My wife and I did the chef special sashimi box and she hasn't stopped talking about. That was a year ago.
Kid-friendliness: I have brought my young kids several times and they loved everything.
So fresh. And they offer real wasabi….not the paste that everyone else serves. Muie magnifico!

10/10 recommend. Ryan was the best server I’ve ever had, he was extremely friendly! The sushi menu has descriptions that explained what to get if you don’t typically eat sushi. The treasure island special roll and the yellowtail sashimi were to die for. We will absolutely be coming back!

It's a restaurant run by a skilled sushi master not found elsewhere in this area. It features high-quality fish handling and authentic Korean dishes. Both Japanese and Korean people will feel the taste of home. Anyone who loves Asian food should experience this place. This picture was taken when I ordered Omakase Sushi box.
