My fiance and I stopped for the night in Winchester and decided to go to the historic district for dinner. We were so delighted to find this sushi spot; the owners were so charming and welcoming, the menu was incredibly thoughtful, and the food was fantastic.
Great in house made kimchi; just the correct amount of heat. The service was quick and polite. It was nice to be able to get inside on a warmish day, but they also have some nice sidewalk side dinning tables available.
We visited Awabi Sushi Bar located in the walk-able "Old Winchester" area of Winchester, Virginia.
Let me start off by saying this food was amazing! The sushi was extremely fresh and flavorful and most of their special sushi rolls had their own unique spin on tastes.
Our waiter was this muscular guy who had a fun sense of humor and offered selection suggestions. He was extremely attentive and was a great host.
