Place is a joke the owner runs her employees like slaves and gets a horrible attitude with them if they need days off or want a vacation it’s no shock they can’t keep the kitchen staffed the owner is a real POS not to mention the roaches they have should just be closed down do everyone a favor
My husband and myself went out for dinner, and the service was so slow. We asked, and they exclaimed they were understaffed, so we understood. But our drinks were slammed down infront of our faces, and waitstaff was just so rude. For the most part our food was amazing, the wings are to die for. I just wish our experience with the staff was better.
horrible service and vulger language absolutly worst place ever
Came in after a long hike and were completely starving. Ordered the taco salad and pulled pork sandwich. Food came out in under 10 minutes so obviously isn't prepared fresh. It wasn't edible. The chicken was like leather and the pulled pork bun was soggy from sitting. The pub sticks were the only decent thing we ordered. Also- 8$ for a can of cider made right up the road. Waitress was sweet but food was horrible.
Great food and drinks. Friendly, attentive staff. We'll definitely be back.
Husband and I stopped in for lunch and it took over an hour for us to get lunch. He ordered a burger that came out very well done, almost burnt. I got a crab cake sandwich which was also over cooked. It was very hard to get refills on our drinks thoughout the meal. It seemed like they were very short staffed and unless you were just getting drinks they didn't seemin a rush to serve you. My husband is not local to the area so we like to visit local restaurants, but we both were surprisingly disappointed.
Service crew for the most part is disinterested in customers altogether, which is a surprise since that’s how they make their money. Felt like an imposition getting a drink from the bar. I officially met the world’s most unfriendly bartender- woman with short hair in the front. Acting like she hates the world. People want to come in and have fun, not feel like they are bothering the staff. There are lots of places in Winchester to grab food and a beer, next time I would go to one that actually acts like they want my business.
Great service! Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable environment. Good beer selection and excellent food. The shrimp app is awesome!??
Since our last meal at Brewbaker's, it has totally gone down hill. Even though we were seated promptly, ( and the server was good) the food was lack luster. I am sure that the previous owners would be totally upset on how it is run. Will not be back.
The food was great, the service was so-so. We stopped in for a late lunch and ordered a steak and cheese sandwich and the Brew-BQ Burger. Both were delicious. My husband eats a lot of steak and cheese sandwiches but this was one of the best he’s had in our area. The burger was massive and the hamburger patty was thick, juicy and cooked to perfection. It was topped with pulled pork and crispy onions and I asked for extra BBQ sauce on the side. I highly recommend this burger to other meat lovers! It was stacked really high and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The server was not very communicative or friendly. I waited for a long time for my drink and watched her ignore me and walk all over helping other patrons after my husband had gotten his beverage. She eventually came to the table to tell me they were out of what I had asked for. I would’ve appreciated her letting me know sooner that she wasn’t sure if they had it and I would’ve asked for a water or soda in the meantime. We definitely plan on coming back though.

Service was great, food was good. Crab cakes looked great, but could have used some seasonings. Without the sauce that accompanied them they would have been blah. Pulled pork sandwich was good.
I had went to this place not to long ago and the only servers seem to be management when I asked to talk to a manager. My food was cold and my steak wasn’t cooked correctly. I asked for steak sauce 3 times before receiving it. I had to repeatedly ask for my husband and I to have our bud lights refilled. The company should really hire new staff and make it where management should actually be able to help us paying customers with our meal instead of being to busy trying to make money. Do not come here unless you want l cold food and rude management new staff and management is most necessary .
What a great place! Great food and excellent service. Swamp cheese appetizer is the BOMB! Put that stuff on everything we ordered and it was DELISH!
Food is prepared with no gloves, found a bandage in my nachos management seemed to say that didn’t come from here but that bandage was cooked into the food. Management and staff aren’t pleasant. Don’t recommend at all
I stumbled across Old Town and arrived later in the evening, starving. As I was approaching this place, I noticed a staff member taking in the outside sign, and asked if they were closing. She said yes, she had already gave last call. I mentioned I was just looking for food. She asked if I by chance wanted it to go, and I said as a matter of fact I did (I was staying at a nearby hotel). She said come on in, we will get you some food. I quickly placed my order and asked about desert. She said all they had was carrot cake but it was delicious. I told her to throw it on. She was so nice, never made me feel as if I was imposing and had superb service. I cannot say enough things, I was exhausted and hungry, and she took good care of me when she didn't have to. Oh and hands down, THE BEST carrot cake I have ever had.
