Cork Street Tavern Reviews
Wouldn't open a tab here. Even though food was good, they charged us $60 for pre-authorization charges on a $50 bill. Apparently when you open a tab every item you send in gets a $15 pre-authorization charge. Better off paying as you go. Funny thing is we only had 3 items total yet still paid 4 charges. Even though they say it refunds in 3 days, we just paid more than double our bill. Won't go back. What a racket.
We had lunch here yesterday. Very good food and superior service. Highly recommend and anytime I'm near Winchester, I'll be stopping by Cork Street Tavern. 😁
Best mozzarella sticks!!

Cork Street Tavern is a restaurant known for its excellent food, offering a variety of dishes such as burgers, cheesesteak, Mac & cheese, hobo beans, broccoli, wings, and loaded fries. The service is described as friendly and attentive, with servers who provide good refills. Customers have enjoyed their meals, noting good selections and generous portions. Specific dishes like the Potato Bacon Leek soup and the Peach Cobbler Cider have received praise. However, there have been comments about the need for a deeper clean and issues with food availability, such as the unavailability of cabbage for the Corned Beef dish on St. Patrick's Day. Recent diners mentioned that while some meals were great, like the Nashville chicken sandwich with stingin' honey garlic sauce and the Big pork BBQ sandwich, others were less satisfying in terms of portion size, such as the fish and chips and the slaw. Despite these issues, many diners are willing to return to try different items on the menu.
