I've been to Costcos in at least 7 states. it is the most congested of them all. 1 attendant at pharmacy with 8 people in line?
why not open all the lanes when there are 50 people waiting ..money's at the top. hire more staff
and redo the entrance to the store. Who ever designed that should be fired!

After finishing shopping and paying for our few items (about $100 worth) with my husband and our little one, we were heading out and after checking my receipt and my cart the employee insisted on me opening my personal book bag/diaper bag. I opened my bag because, “ I had nothing to hide, but when I asked the employee why, the Costco employee proceeded to tell me that, “she needed to make sure I didn’t have merchandise in my book bag because people are now stealing.” So belittling and degrading, I wouldn’t be this emotionally invested however nobody else’s belongings were being checked. My husband even hung back and watched as she didn’t check anyone else’s book bags or diaper bags or purses. I have never felt so belittled and degraded in my life with a line of people staring at us and I started crying as I went to the vehicle with my 4 year old. This is not okay, no signage anywhere and when I called and complained to the manager Stacy she never once asked me for my name or sounded like she genuinely cared. When my husband asked the lady why I was the only one she checked when there were 5 others with book bags and diaper bags allowed to continue unbothered she quickly replied “that is our policy” my husband replied, “your policy is to target minorities?” It is 2023 and I have never felt so targeted for the color of my skin and or looking different than everyone else.

Was at the Winchester store yesterday and they DO NOT enforce the wearing of masks once inside. We had an incident with a women who refused to put her mask on while walking around the store. She should have been escorted out of the store due to their "policy" of no mask, no entry!!! This women could have infected each and every one of us in the store. Great policy Costco, I will not be back.

Love the prices and quality of their products. Employees are very helpful. Please remember that this is a warehouse club so individual items are not always available. Large boxes at a great price are available. And their gas prices can't be beat!

They did an excellent job of controlling the crowd. Only allowing 200 people at a time made it easier to shop. Disinfecting the carts as they went along great. Still not wipes toilet paper or paper towels or there but all in all it was pretty good. Best job of controlling people actually.
As with all Costcos, you can expect it to be a busy place. The place was easy to find and close to our hotel. Shopping was great and we found a few things we don't have in Canada.

They carry the Kirkland product that my area Costco distributors refused to carry. This Costco is clean friendly and actually carries the Costco Kirkland items as it should

The Winchester, VA Costco Pharmacy is horrible and I believe dishonest too. I'm prescribed Adderall XR generic. There are many different companies that make the generic. Sometimes the generic works well, other times it definitely does not. For many months I had been taking the generic imprinted with G456 and it helped me considerably. Then I received a generic imprinted R 3061. It was barely better than a placebo. I suffer from severe depression and before generic Adderall, I tried many different medications for nearly a decade. None of them helped much. Generic Adderall changed my life from severely depressed and in bed most of the time, to a productive and outgoing person! My friends and family told me that I was finally back to my old self and to continue taking generic Adderall no matter what. When I visited my doctor, I told him about the generic (imprinted R 3061) that I had and that I was slipping back into depression. He said some generics don’t work well for some people and that I should call pharmacies until I found one with a generic that worked for me. I called several pharmacies, but they all had the same generic that didn’t help me much. They were all pleasant, except one, Costco Pharmacy. I called the Winchester, VA pharmacy, spoke with Tech (I believe it was Amy), explained my situation and asked what the current batch of their generic Adderall had imprinted on it. She asked me to hold. She finally came back and said they didn’t have Adderall. I said you mean you don’t have any in stock? Amy said no, we don’t carry that drug. I replied you don’t carry Adderall or even generic Adderall? She said no we don’t. I asked again, you don’t sell Adderall or generic Adderall? She said no. She was rude and curt. The only conclusion I could come to is that I was being treated like a drug fiend, searching for a fix. I contacted Costco Pharmacy mail order and spoke with Leah, a very kind pharmacist who took all my information and apologized for what happened. She said Costco pharmacies do carry generic Adderall and that she would inform the Warehouse Pharmacy Manager and the Regional Supervisor about what happened and I would receive some follow up. I called another pharmacy and the pharmacist was wonderful and they told me the imprint on their generic. It was one that works for me. I will continue using this pharmacy and would never use Costco pharmacy in Winchester, VA, ever! Hopefully, this review will help others in my situation to be treated with decency and respect by his pharmacy. It has been nine days with no follow up of any kind from Costco or Costco pharmacy. This is very uncharacteristic for the Winchester, VA Costco. The other departments have always provided top notch customer service and overall I love this Costco.

I love Costco and my sister needed some home essentials so we made the 30mi trip and see how it compares to the one back home in Puerto Rico. Wasn’t totally surprised since ours is always busy and is pretty up to date so I didn’t find a ton of new stuff. Still it was a pretty fun trip and we snagged some samples along with what we wanted to buy.
