Since our hotel did not offer a complimentary breakfast, we enjoyed our breakfast two mornings at this delightful Cracker Barrel, which has happily retained it's authentic charm. Although the restaurant was busy, we were seated right away, and our friendly and efficient server welcomed us right away. The coffee was hot and plentiful, and our meals (Grandma's breakfast) were delicious. In my opinion, nothing else rivals their pancakes (much like my Mom used to make). You can actually taste the buttermilk and the edges were buttery and crispy. The warm bottles of maple syrup made it complete. Our eggs and bacon were cooked exactly as we ordered them. Our check out at the front counter was a very short wait, happily allowing me time to pick up a unique fridge magnet and a Christmas tree ornament related to Winchester and Virginia.
We've always had a nice comfortable, relaxing time at the Front Royal, VA location. Our server, Amy, made our visit particularly pleasant. Cheerful, helpful, and patient. We could not have asked for a better server. At check-out there was an issue with our "Pegs" Rewards and the manager was swift to step in and make it right. While we have visited many locations across the country, some better than others, this one has become our favorite!
Will never go back to Cracker Barrel again it's a disgusting miserable place I'd rather eat dog food. And I think the top management should be gone and place by Smart wholesome good food loving AMERICAN Patriots. Are they all can be closed down completely which is maybe what's gonna happen anyway. Horrible food lousy service and terrible management and very expensive

Love this place. Always so cozy. We RV a lot and CB is our favorite place to stop. Love the warm country atmosphere. Please do not change a thing about the logo and decorations. Put your money into staff rewards and support like health care and education. Thanks

We were seated immediately. Same warm interior and the same warm service. We enjoyed our meals. The portions were generous. After a long day it was nice to kick back and have an enjoyable experience.

My wife and I I both had coffee and egg sandwich. Mine no meat but a side cup of fruit. ,wife had meat. Kind of didn’t expect a $38 bill with tip. For breakfast, wow. Service was excellent and food was hot and flavorful.

The food was delicious, the tables didn't get cleaned very well after people left, the waitress was moderately attentive, and they were chintzy with the jelly (2 packets for 5 pieces of bread). If we go back, it'll be for the tasty food.

Food seldom disappoints and it was true when I visited. So much food left over which I would have totally enjoyed for another meal if I hadn’t accidentally left it out of the refrigerator.😢😢
