I just ate here for the first time under the recommendation of a friend. The building can be a little difficult to find, but it's not a location you'll forget the second time around. The sandwiches were great and the Heath bar Mookie was as well. The only "complaint" I have is that when we arrived they weren't that busy but we still ended up waiting 15 or 20 minutes for the food. In the end it wasn't really a problem because the food was excellent in the wait, worth it. I will be by again.Side note: the cups are a little flimsy, I wouldn't give one to a kid. However, I feel like that's an effort to reduce plastic use, so it's fine by me.

PSA: I have to give a huge shoutout to Josh at Crash Test Dummies. He was so accommodating and able to wear all the hats yesterday in order for my mom and I to have a wonderful first experience there. You see we had chosen this place based on pictures and great reviews we have heard. When we pulled up the open sign wasn’t on but it was 11:02. So we assumed either they were just running a few minutes behind or something was up and they weren’t opening. Slightly disappointed, we decided to sit there to wait and see if they would open the door before we chose a different place. And boy am I glad we did. Josh , aka “our knight in shining chefs apron” came out and asked if we were there to eat, we told him yes and he told us the debaclehe was facing. His server was not yet there and before he could say more I told him we would be no trouble at all and could take care of ourselves as long as he fed us ??? So he opened the door for us and we had such an incredible meal. He was able to multi task and provide us with the most delicious beef and barley soup. It warmed our bones for sure, the salad was on point and that homemade vinaigrette was the perfect balance of sweet spicy and a tangy bitter, and the the Chicken sandwich was so hearty and flavorful, then he had to hit us with the mookies!!!! Like what, where have these been all my life. If you don’t know what I’m talking about I advise you to get in your car and drive to crash test dummies perfectly located off Jubal early and ask for a MOOKIE , it will change your life and I will consider myself thanked. Josh, thank you for being such a cool person and giving my mom and I something to smile about for the rest of the day! ?????

We stopped here for carry out lunch and got two Members Only Club sandwiches with chips. When entering I was greeted by Renee. She was friendly, welcoming, and her kindness was infectious. I honestly left feeling more cheerful than before I had entered. The two clubs were similar to most other fresh and good quality clubs I have had, but what set them apart was the bacon. OMG, the bacon! It was thick cut, salty, glazed with sweetness (maybe brown sugar), ever so slightly spicy (maybe with a hint of chili powder), and melt in your mouth perfect. Then there was the totally unexpected, yet completely appreciated surprise of a miniature chocolate chip cookie bite. It was barely crispy on the out side and so buttery with gooey center. I could have ate 20 of them. Excellent work Crash-Test Yummies!

Really nice people & they pop up at local events. It's unfortunate that at the moment they are unable to have a dinner menu. Just recently tried for the first time going in the building and I think the food is on point they also use local meats. Looking forward to them being able to bring dinner back so I can try!

This place is great! Stopped in for lunch and had the Cubano and the Milroy sandwiches. They were both delicious. For dessert you've gotta try the Mookie!

We were heading home from Pennsylvania to Virginia and we needed sandwiches STAT! Yummies was really close off the highway (81) and was totally worth the short trip. The service was quick and polite. The atmosphere was fun. We had our dog with us and they have picnic tables to take a rest and a nosh. The Cubano was the best version of that sandwich we've had. Also the Mookies (I might have the name wrong, it's a combo of a cookie and a muffin) were an unexpected treat that we'll be stopping in to get again on this journey. Thanks.
The place is hidden kinda, but gps got us there fine. It's clean, staff is so friendly, its a little pricey, but so good. We got crack jack i think it was called and it was amazing. Must try once at least.

I was out and about a few weeks ago and saw this place, I was going to stop, but it was closed. I finally had a chance to go back and I was very impressed. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly, and made sure that I was taken care of. I had the Crack Jack sandwich and it was very tasty and filling, but I did leave room for the s'mores mookie for dessert. A very positive experience for a first time visit!
