I ordered Coconut Shrimp, Crab Rangoon, and Combination Lo Mein from Eastern. Everything appeared fresh and hot. I however did not like the coconut shrimp at all. The container for the coconut shrimp had iceberg lettuce in the bottom of the container. By the time I got my take out home, the lettuce had wilted and became almost gelatinous, sticking to the shrimp. The sauce was water and everything ended up tasting like warm lettuce. I wish the sauce were thicker and the lettuce was left out of my box! There is no need for it! Other than this problem everything else tasted great and had good portion sizes with reasonable prices.

Ordered the general tso chicken, NO chicken mostly just breading and two pieces of broccoli. This place used to be good not sure what happened within the last year.
Was scared to order from them since I’d never tried before but got delivery and we were very pleasantly surprised. Got a couple of the chef’s specials that were great but all the dumplings we got were fantastic. For DELIVERY Chinese this was amazing
I placed a delivery order today for General Tsos Chicken, Garlic Chicken and Garlic Brocolli. All three dishes were outstanding!
We ordered the General Tao’s Tofu, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Edamame, and Sweet Biscuits for less than $40 and it was AMAZING. Like some of the best tofu I’ve ever had and the biscuits (which were basically pillowy little donuts) are addictive. I had two and had to put them up because I would have eaten the whole bag. Can’t wait to try more of the menu next time!!
Amazing Food & Outstanding Service!
We placed a rather large order from Eastern Chinese Restaurant during peak hours on a busy Saturday night. While the delivery took a little longer than expected (which is completely understandable given the timing), the experience was still top-notch. The delivery driver was incredibly kind, professional, and sincerely apologetic for the delay, which was greatly appreciated.
But the real star of the night? The food! It arrived piping hot, as if it had just come straight from the kitchen, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beyond delicious. The quality and taste far exceeded my expectations.
If you’re looking for fantastic Chinese food in Winchester, this place is an absolute must-try! We’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!
Nice employees but that was the only perk other than the nice chandelier.
There was only 2 booths so limited seating. One booth was full of supplies.
The food was really bad sadly. The orange chicken was hard, dried out frozen and heated chicken covered in sauce, and his broccoli was cold. He then got curry chicken. It had the light yellow color for curry but no flavor. Said it tasted like salted chicken.
I had pineapple chicken. As I was trying to go a healthier option. It had decent slices of chicken. But heavily soaked in a thick heavy sauce. I was scooping the sauce off to a separate bowl as it was just way over-soaked.
Everything is also served on paper plates and paper cups for the hot tea, and plastic cutlery.
The sauce for the steamed dumplings was actually the only thing I really enjoyed even though dumplings were not made fresh.
I love their Combination fried rice and Lo Mein . They have the best Chinese food .
I purchased egg drop soup from this restaurant. I noticed after eating part of it the egg was green and appeared moldy. I received food poisoning from this soup. I presented the moldy egg to the employees at the store and instead of refunding my money they argued with me and accused me of not properly refrigerating the food. (Not the case) Although they accused me of improper refrigeration they also stated the clearly moldy, green egg was supposed to look that way. I have eaten egg drop soup many times and it never looked like that and never made me sick. Easterns was my go to place but they have now lost a customer for life. I hope they get shut down for making people ill with bad food. Good luck with the health inspectors that will be notified.

I get food delivered from here every week or so. It's the best I've ever had. I always end up comparing any other place I try to this one and it clears every time.
