I have been going to this location for many years now. Every time I come here, I am always greeted with friendly “welcome to firehouse!” as soon I walk in the door. This makes me feel very valued as a customer. The staff here are always pleasant. The food never disappoints and is very amazing. The service is quick and efficient. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat!

Gave Firehouse Subs a second chance and I love it! My Firehouse Steak and Cheese was so delicious. All ingredients were cooked to perfection with melted cheese on it. I added lettuce to give a fresh taste. Their costumer service has improved much. Laura the cahier explained to me what cane on my delicious sub. Thank you guys! Keep it up! I definitely recommend it.

Placed 2 orders online - 1 order was "not processed" but the money was taken from my account. second order was processed; so we called the store to have Larry put us on hold (basically left the phone on the counter) for over 15 minutes. So we proceeded to the store to not find our food and for Larry to tell us that the 3rd party system is down and they don't have any orders, yet I was holding the confirmation page with the order # and the order information in my hand. Showed it to Larry who showed his Assistant Manager (Didn't get her name and referring to me as a kid to his assistant manager. Buddy, I'm not a kid and thats profiling. Don't assume!) who told me "You did not pay Firehouse, you paid GrubHub" and so I need to contact GrubHub to get my refund. So when GRUBHUB PAYS THEM for my order # that was approved and money taken from the account - they can't offer to look at the order information to make the subs? NOPE! They want to argue why its not their problem. That's fine, and it's also theft and because I know the establishment has cameras; I will be contacting my lawyer to sue them for the theft and the misconduct. And use the "we were busy" excuse as to why Larry placed the phone down on the counter for 15 minutes and forgot about the person who had called. Considering, when I went to the location - there were 2 people making the sandwiches... Correction, there was a male making the orders while the female stood behind him twiddling her thumbs. This establishment is always slow and dirty. This is by far the WORST firehouse subs ever! No wonder I keep getting phone calls from Firemen and EMT's to donate! Sad thing is, I am a former EMT!!!!!

After a few recommendations by a friend, I finally tried Firehouse Subs in Winchester, VA. Today November 16, 2023 I tried their tuna sandwich. Without any doubt, it was so delicious. everything was so fresh, right seasoning, saltiness and flavors. However, their lack of customer service needs to improve BIG. This is the reason I give them 3 stars. For me it is very important to feel welcome and be greeted with a smile by all employees, and the cashier needs to explain more about their menu.
I write a fair amount of reviews. It takes a great deal to get 5 stars out of me. The folks at this Firehouse just flat out win. Trying to get a platter together for Halloween and without going into too much detail this family owned and operated shop went above and beyond. There are no photos because well... it be gone... all of it. I am absolutely floored at their customer service, even going so far as to come out and sit with me in the lobby to make sure everything was addressed and prepared. Pick up the next day was an absolute breeze. In and Out. Visit this restaurant and give them your business.

I decided on a sub from Firehouse recently. I ordered a large NY sub and took it home with me. Not something I'll repeat. The sun was totally SUBpar (pun intended). I couldn't for the life of me identify the meat that it had on it under the massive layer of hot melted cheese. It all tasted like absolute crap and the garbage is where the sub went. Last time I'll ever go there, that's for sure.
