We picked up an assorted dozen to share with friends. Hard to decide which one is a favorite because they were all delicious. We will definitely be back!

I typically love empanadas tried several different types, but found them all to be very bland and lacking in enough spices/ flavor for my taste.

Manager Juan is Super Friendly and Great at his job. Always makes Myself, and guests feel very welcomed. The empanadas themselves are delicious and filling. The side sauces are terrific and their custom juices are a tad on the pricey side, but worth it. 10/10Favorite Quick Food in Town!!!

Today I had my first "Gringo Gordo" experience. Juan was so friendly and gave such great customer service. I ordered a large number of empanadas for our office and he not only baked them fresh, but also put a name on each one for our team members. 10/10!

The food is delicious. 5 stars there! We drive over an hour to get frozen empanadas to enjoy later. Have been multiple times and always appreciate the ability to grab and go. This last time we went, we were the only ones there (it was a very slow day). The gentleman at the counter had to have us remind him of our order twice. He then left the shop partway through putting our order together, leaving the store wearing food gloves and returning back to finish our order, but didn't change his gloves. We didn't check our order before leaving, just wanting to get out after waiting 20 minutes for an uncooked to-go order, and when we got home, saw that we were short two empanadas. Likely won't be going again after this last experience.

We went to Gringo to try empanadas as the ones in Argentina. The place is cute but needs some improvement in the tiny table area, which is a part of an old old house in the historical Leesburg downtown. Accessing by stairs the first area is the counter where you order.Mostly this place is for take out, but we sat at a table. Again it would be very nice to improve this area.We asked for argentinas (meat), capresse, and spiced meat. Argentinas were the most closer to a real argentine empanada. Well filled but lacking flavor. Capresse needs work in adding tomato and mixed cheeses that can represent the original mozzarella. The spicy one was not so spicy.Other fillings are adaptations to the american food, like brisket or chipotle. It is important to clarify that the empanadas made in Argentina are very particular, difficult to replicate and varies from province to province, but if Gringo invest in more knowledge and flavor it's possible to get better results. For who doesn't know the original ones they are not so bad, it wasn't our case though. We would have liked to reach a product at least in between. Attendant was good. Good for kids, counter area okay.

I got an empanada during after getting some drinks with my family. The empanada was really hot and spicy. It was exactly the snack that I was looking for after having a few drinks.

Empanadas were great!! Freshly made. Lots of filling. Descent size. Several flavors to choose from. Just as pictured on website. Well worth the price. Tried the chicken, brisket and beef. All were really tasty. Establishment smelled of awesome, great smelling, baking empanadas. Hot chipotle sauce is a must try - it’s delicious to dip in. Service was very solemn, not much chatting. Place is small so get your food and keep it moving. Will visit again.

This place is absolutely incredible, I’ve gotten to the point where I order 20 of them and then microwave them for lunch multiple days. It is so much better than just getting a pizza for a group of friends.

Best kept secret around! At least I didn't know how good it is. The chicken is amazing but the spicy beef was my favorite. We actually ordered while having a drink next door and we're watching a football game. Didn't know that was an option but will be doing that on a regular basis!!

I'm happy I stopped here instead of the other restaurants in the area. The employee behind the counter was super nice. I got a dozen empanadas in a variety of flavors and every flavor I've tried so far has been amazing and the dipping sauce is phenomenal.

Incredible food but not a place to hang out. Flavors and textures were great but not much sitting space and the restaurant isn’t much to look at. That being said, the focus is on the empanadas… and they were perfect. Chipotle ranch tastes super American as you would expect.. but the Chimichurri wakes up all the flavors of the empanadas.

Empanadas are a woefully neglected method of eating in America and after going to this establishment, I now want to keep eating more! It's essentially a hot pocket on steroids. You name it, it goes in there. Meat, cheese, apples, you name it, it works. I haven't had the juice here but I'm sure if its anything like the empanadas here, its excellent. The man who work here is very friendly and service is fast.

My man and I were walking down old town and taking selfies. Then this very kind person came out an offered to take our picture. We then started walking and noticed that she worked at this place gringo Gordo and we decided to go in and try some of their empanadas and we are so glad we did. The empanadas were delicious. I had the smoked chicken and my boyfriend had the Argentina. The ambience were so cute and quaint, but we ate outside to take in the the sights. The service was amazing, I recommend this place to all!!! Thank you Ingra fir your awesome hospitality
