Hog-it-up BBQ, Bar & Saloon

I’m not sure how anyone could recommend this place. First time customer and we were clearly served very old meat. I ordered the brisket sandwich off door dash which was pictured with a bun- came with one slice of bread and the driest meat imaginable. I thought this was maybe a DoorDash order issue maybe the driver left it for too long or something but other members in our party got the same results (plus one extra piece of bread lol) they did mention the service was amazing and that the inside was clean and nice.

This is real good BBQ.

The brat and the sweet tea chicken are really unique. Both are rich and full of flavor but there's a nice herbal zip that's kind of refreshing with each bite. If you're looking for something out of ordinary, these two won't disappoint.

If you want to go more traditional, the corned beef brisket was fall apart tender and really nice as a sandwich.

The restaurant has a gas station deli vibe but well organized and clean.

I stopped by while enjoying a long, summer morning ride on my motorcycle from DC. I will definitely make the trip out again just to eat here.

Great food , Great service.. well worth it .. got the sampler. Which is brisket, pork, and turkey with 3 sides. I got the corn pudding, tropical slaw and mac n cheese.. all very delicious. We were offered a sample of the corned brisket, ended up getting some to go. All the meat was moist and delicious. All the workers were friendly and chatted with us.

Came in after getting a recommendation ( outta towners), glad that we did! We got 2 of the meat samplers and everything was amazing! My sister got the brisket sandwich and she said it was perfect .. All the meats are moist, They let us even sample a piece of corned beef and we ended up buying some. Some of the best barbecue I've had in a long time! Customer service was friendly and food was out quickly. I highly recommend, and I will definitely be returning when I come back..

Decent food but small portions and too expensive for the working class neighborhood that it’s in.

I’m talking about the right place, across the street from the bowling alley.

I could pay $20 at Fizzles and get a brisket plate, 2 sides, a bun, and a soda for $20.

Food was spectacular! The Texas Twinkie was on point! I wanted to get a dozen of them to take home ;) We also had pork BBQ, mac and cheese and corn pudding. All good! The bourbon BBQ sauce was so tasty and unique, we bought a bottle to go. The only disappointment was that it is so far from our house! :P

The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious!!!! I used to be on the edge about pulled pork with a mindset that it was super sweet bbq flavor and this place has completely changed my thoughts on it!!!! You won’t regret coming here!!! I will 100% have them cater my wedding!!!

Me and my girlfriend eat out a good bit and I’m sorry to tell you this is the worst meal and most expensive meal we have eaten all year. We had brisket macaroni cheese fries coleslaw the brisket was dry the macaroni didn’t taste right tasted funny the coleslaw was rotten,The french fries were put into the fryer before the grease was hot so they soak the grease up witch we’re nasty , our dinner rolls were actual hamburger buns and we got two sweet teas and the tea machine has not been cleaned or something because the tea taste nasty and not only that it was $64 for two people I will never eat at that barbecue place ever again and I encourage you to avoid them unless you want to stomachache like I got right ,It should be called dog it up because that’s what I did with mine gave it to my dog After it made my stomach hurt And my girlfriend took one bite of the brisket and gave the rest of the dog along with everything else and I’m feeling sick so thank you dog it up the SPCA is looking for plenty of food!!!!! And I’m not kidding one bit very upset highly pissed off so good luck if you choose to eat a dog it up!!!!!!

Food was amazing. Guy at the counter was great. Cool atmosphere and decoration. Stopped here for lunch during a work trip and I’m happy I did.
