The best Caribbean food is hands down in Winchester. Very reasonable price and tastes great. Can wait until I'm back in Winchester worth driving 3 hours if not just to order again. THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM!!!!!!!

First time visiting this authentic Jamaican restaurant and it won't be the last! Delicious seasoning and flavors! We went as a group of 6 and didn't wait long on all our meals. We ordered Jerk chicken, Red snapper, Fried dumplings (like fried donuts a little sweet), wing dings with a home made sauce- Everything sauce- ask for it! , Oxtail, and Brown stew chicken (brown gravy). Dinners come with 2 choices of sides- red beans and rice, steamed cabbage, white rice or plantain. Pretty extensive bar selections Jamaican sodas and Coke products to drink. Plentiful seating and the staff and owner are amazingly friendly. Be sure to check out this authentic restaurant!

My first time going here and omg 😲 this food was amazing..We had the beef patties crust 😋 Co Co bread was soft and warm, and the oxtail was delicious 😋 we will back Thank you and customer service was awesome

I rarely write reviews, but this restaurant left me no choice. Hands down, it is the absolute BEST food I’ve had thus far in Winchester and the best Caribbean food I have yet to find! Nothing could have made this dish any more perfect. Everything was seasoned and smoked to perfection! The jerk chicken was so tender and moist! I rarely eat dark meat, but I ate every piece! Don’t even get me started on the cabbage! Eating it so much as a child, I lost a taste for it as an adult, but Island Delights changed my opinion! It was cooked just right! Buttery, flavorful, and delicious! The beef patty was incredible!! This place brings an entirely new meaning to soul food! You can taste generations of souls being poured into this hidden gem! Every bite brought me back to my childhood and tasted like home cooking. I didn’t get to try the Island drink, but I look forward to it on my next visit! Thank you for this delectable experience!

The oxtail dinner was incredible. Highly, highly recommend!

Was just passing through the area, and wanted to try something different than the typical chains. The reviews drew me in and the food lived up to others’ experience. I ordered jerk chicken, bbq chicken and chicken curry for the group to share. Portions were large enough for all of us to try variety. The sides were not any less flavorful than the main dish.

This was my third visit there. The portion of food was large with great taste. Had curry goat on this visit but on the prior visits, ox tails. Waited about 15 to 20 minutes to get the food but it did come out hot and the possible wait time is on the menu. I noticed a lot of doordash service while we waited. Parking isn't the best, it's a small tight fit lot.

Oxtails and rice cabbage were very good I will visit again soon

Island delights has the best Caribbean food! The stewed beef and jerk chicken are to die for. Highly recommend if you are looking for some authentic and delicious food!

They are extremely nice ! I had brown stew chicken plantains and cabage words cant describe how juicy and tender and full of flavor omggggg wow !!!! Down to her cabage !!! She made me two blue Hawaiian drinks omg i felt like i was in jamaica on vaction for a second there!!! DELICIOUS !!!! Really nice people and excellent quality of food !!!!

The BEST Jamaican food !…. Absolutely a must have if you’re craving Jamaican! We love it! And don’t forget the fried plantains! Yum!

Another well-deserved 5 star review. Tried the jerk chicken and ox tail, and got the cabbage, plantains, and rice and beans as my sides. Cabbage was great, the plantains were beautifully caramelized, and the rice and beans were good as expected until I tried them with the oxtail gravy which was next level. Everything was perfectly seasoned, hot, tender, and generously portioned. Snagged a bottle of the everything sauce which was used on the Jerk Chicken, and a bottle of the island heat hot sauce which turned out to be a great, flavorful multi-purpose hot sauce. Wish I lived closer!
