Unfortunately flavorless.
Visited for the first time. The food was very good. My husband got the hit and sour soup which was flavorful. He asked for it to be a bit spicier and got what he asked for. LOL! His chicken and black bean was very good. the veggies were crispy and cooked perfectly. I had egg foo young. the gravy was the best i had ever had- not too thick and very tasty. It was cooked a little more than I personally liked, but it was still very fluffy and light. We also tried chicken mei fun. the noodles were firm but not mushy and not oily, which we like. The General Tso was good but a bit on the sweet side for me. The chicken was battered in a way similar to sweet and sour chicken and the sauce was more sweet than spicy. Our son had asked for a little spicy and it wasn’t even that. The broc that came with it was excellent. Still crunchy and not soggy. Love that. Finally, the fortune cookies were very good. I know they don’t make them but wherever they get them the cookie is a tad sweet, great crunch and table fortunes inside. We will definitely be back!
their lo mein is the best around, unless you like it sweet like candy (Ginza steak house lo mein is like that). sweet and sour chicken is great with all meat. chicken mushroom is good. I'm not a fan of their mei fun or fried rice. take out portions always large (see photo of containers always filled to the top). (Sorry that I messed up the photo I took with the lid off-- next time I'll get that).
update: the hunan chicken is also terrific. see in photos how the container is bursting the lid and how high quality and fresh those vegetables are.
Vegetarian options: vege lo mein is great. they have tofu offerings.

The house special fried rice was 95% rice. Very little meat and shrimp.

Good, local Chinese. The food was good. Dumplings were the best! Doesn't look like much from outside but nice interior with great service.

Ordered pickup from here on 09/06/2024 for my mom and dad who routinely use to go here but because of health reasons are unable to travel as much. Ordered low salt Shrimp and Vegetables and Chicken and Broccoli both with white rice. I had the Dragon and Pheonix and must say it was delicious. The food tasted fresh, flavorful and all for a great price. Definitely going back for more!

They claim that it's on film that my order was complete, but they refuse to send me the film, even though the manager said he would. We were on our way home from Breast Center at Valley Health because I've been dealing with cancer and because I just got access to money I was owed we splurged. The food is always soo good here. Unfghortunately I made ome very nasty comments on line about the owner and manager being duplicitous in claiming to have film of an item I ordered beoing placed in the bag with the order. When all was said and done,, my Mother whom has severe short term memory issues put that part of the order on a counter we weren't using last night. I would like to apoligize to all who read my diatribe and especially to the manager and owner of Jin Zhou Garden. I was absolutely wrong and beg forgiveness. I didn't make accusations for any other reasons than what I truely believed at the time. But when my Mother's involved, I certainly should know better. All of my heartfelt apolygies. I truely was acting on what I believed at the time. I am so sorry.Sincerely,Paula Simpson

I ordered on the phone and was very easy and efficient. I felt that it was priced fine.We got crab Rangoon, egg rolls and general tsos chicken. The crab Rangoon barely had any (imitation) crab. The eggroll was ok.General tso wasn't spicy even though one of the orders we specified extra spicy. At the end of the day, we won't go back. Our search for great Chinese continues.

well spent $45 and Gen Tso chicken was dark meat chicken as you can taste.I got lunch special beef with broccoli which had 3 small pieces of beef. The house special fried rice has small shreds of chicken and diced pork so small that was not worth putting in very little shrimp was added and didn't see any beef.I used to go to this place but won't anymore.I would suggest adding more meat and shrimp to dishes.I don't mind paying but you better bring good food or I will not frequent this place anymore
