Excellent hidden gem in Frederick County. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We tried the Chimmichangas for the first time and WOW they are amazing! You won't leave here hungry and if you do, it's your own fault! Highly recommend this eatery to all Mexican food lovers.
I wanted to sample all the Mexican restaurants in Winchester to find the best one. Las Trancas was the second. Didn't see much point in trying any others because it was so good. Booths or tables. Well stocked bar. Cold beer. Varied menu without being overwhelming. They have nachos!. Chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian options. Really good burritos. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking. Worth going back again and again
Food and service was outstanding. Best Mexican food I have had in decades. Chips, salsa, and guacamole was perfect. The only downside to our dining experience was the music. Far too loud for conversation across the table.
