This was such a great meal, we stopped in for breakfast. Our server was the sweetest, she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and it was busy but she was treating all her tables with this service.
We split the Western omelet and Jerri’s special, and still had food for leftovers!
10/10 would recommend and adding this to my list of favorite places.

Another place with 1960's vibe. Good food. Plenty of coffee, great prices, fast and friendly service. No frills, just down home cooking. Always a few regulars there, retired folks. Home fried potatoes are ok, but not the best.

The food was bland, the service felt biased compared to what seemed to be regulars, the place probably hasn't been updated since the 70s and smells that way.

We stopped at this diner while in town for a few days. We wanted so bad to enjoy it, but it wasn’t as good as we hoped. My club sandwich was “okay” and the fries were quite soft and not very good. My wife ordered onion rings with her sandwich, at a cost of $4 extra, and all she got was about four or maybe five small little onion rings. Way overpriced! Neither of us were impressed with the diner. Hopefully they will get better, but we won’t go back.

Amherst Diner has a pleasant country-themed atmosphere, and they serve traditional breakfast meals such as hot cakes and eggs. They also have lunch options available, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups. It does get a bit busy at times, so there may be a small wait for seating and meals.

Random find on a road trip heading south. Great service. The Gore sausage was very good.

This place was so charming! It had a local crowd which is always a good thing. Service was five stars. I've never seen a cleaner restaurant. The food was so good, made to order. My husband had a cheese steak sub and I had a club sandwich. Everything was hot and fresh. Homemade sweet tea won my heart! They had different pies for dessert (we were full from lunch) and daily lunch specials. We will definitely go back again! Oh, the sandwiches came with fries and the.cost.of the meal with drinks was similar to the cost of McDonald's but 100 times better!
