Another place with 1960's vibe. Good food. Plenty of coffee, great prices, fast and friendly service. No frills, just down home cooking. Always a few regulars there, retired folks. Home fried potatoes are ok, but not the best.
Amherst Diner has a pleasant country-themed atmosphere, and they serve traditional breakfast meals such as hot cakes and eggs. They also have lunch options available, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups. It does get a bit busy at times, so there may be a small wait for seating and meals.
