Got the brisket with mac, and one rib. That food is delicious and customer service was A1. Definitely going back.

Pro: online ordering, big parking lot. Con: price, portion size. I been driving by this restaurant for months and after seeing the many positives reviews of this establishment my anticipation to try the food here has been high. I use the website to order some brisket, ribs, fries, and Mac N cheese which came to about 33 dollar before tax and 36 dollar after tax. The parking lot is big so no issue there and upon entering I pick up my order from the counter. Looking at the food box the first thing that comes to mind is that the portion size does not give you the bang for the buck. I could get more value at the region 117 restaurants for a lower price and more food compare to mission bbq is giving me. Let start with the fries, they were under season, not crispy, and were just sad. The mac N cheese was decent. The brisket was a bit dry so it was a good thing they give you a lot of sauce with the food. The ribs tasted ok and came off the bone with ease. All in all, I had higher expectations of mission bbq due to the many good reviews but it look like my hope were dashed and I don't see myself coming back here again in the future.

Steak was said to be med rare when it was well done, tough and very thin. $40 for a decent sandwich but charged full price for sides when it could have been a combo meal. Very disappointed and won't be back. They lost a good customer. Bonnie Blue has them beat by a LONG SHOT on quality on only everything.

Had hoped to really like, but was immediately turned off by rude order taker.Food was okay for food as bbq....not so much. The ribs were beef, I was expecting pork baby back ribs, but that is possibly my confusion.. In either just didn't taste like real bbq.

The service was outstanding but the plate I had was just so-so. It really depends on what kind of BBQ you like. The Mac n cheese was excellent and the dessert was good.

I enjoy mission bbq & they always did good until the other day: I went out to eat, just to find out how dry my ribs was. Now I’m convinced that food was old before it was giving to me, p.s: I gave the food to my dog.

I'm not much of a review writer but I knew I had to after my meal. I walked to the register and told him I might need a minute since I've never been here. The man at the cash register described every item on the menu in detail. I went with a pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, and fries (simple order for a first timer). When my order was ready the man that bagged it thanked me for coming in and gave me a free sandwich card and some blueberry dessert. He described the smoking and cooking process they use and described every sauce and gave me every one to take with me. He thanked me again and I went home. Everything was delicious including the blueberry dessert that I didn't order.Like I said, I'm not much of a review writer. However I had to write this because the staff is amazing and the food is amazing. I will be back very soon.

Our local Mission BBQ (Winchester, VA) has the best people. Great food. Maybe a tad pricey but what isn't these days. They are committed to providing a great experience for every customer. It's seasonal but that Caramel Bread Pudding is so good I cry from happiness. And the brownies are large and have choc chips in them!

Good BBQ and this local shop is very supportive of armed forces and law enforcement which I like! The workers are actually very friendly and genuinely seem happy to be there and willing to help you any way they can. This is such a refreshing change of pace! They are also very knowledgeable regarding food sensitivities and went above and beyond! We will definitely visit again very soon!Dietary restrictions: They are knowledgeable about gluten sensitivity and have plenty of gluten free options.
