Oak Stone Craft Pizza and Bar

Excellent flavorful food. Great mixed drink selections with unique flavors. We has curry cauliflower soup, salmon garden salad and bees knees pizza. Excellent service. Was a little tricky to find as it's tucked back from the road. Definitely will be back!

My husband and I went here for the first time and it was delicious! We sat at the bar and the bartender Justin was very friendly and knowledgeable, he definitely knows what hes doing and knows his regulars orders. He recommended tasty drinks, which he let me sample the bluegrass Festival cocktail and it was very good, no too sweet or tart, it was the perfect balance of blueberry and lemon. The bacon wrapped meatballs as you can see were delicious! It comes with 4 meatballs and it just didn't make the picture it was that good! Super tender and flavorful! We also had the Blanco wood fired pizza and of course amazing! My husband also ordered the Carnivore wood fired pizza but he was hungry and ate it all up before I can take a picture..I did have a bite and that is also delicious! I would definitely recommend this place.

A group of 6 of us had pizza and drinks after visiting the Scraposaurs exhibit at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. We were seated promptly at a table roomy enough for all of us; to include one person with a wheelchair. My husband and I had the Bees Knees pizza without the apples (allergy). It was very good. My husband and I had one cocktail each (expensive); I had the Sense of Chia drink served in a martini glass; my husband had the Smelly Old Cigar; it smelled fine, but he reported it tasted like a smelly old cigar (he was warned by the waitress). His curiosity got the better of him ; ). I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We always love trying new pizza places. Oakstone did not disappoint. Friendly service that was attentive yet not overbearing. Woodfire pizzas in 2 sizes - 10 or 14 inch.

We had a great date at Oak Stone. The service is great and the pizza and salads are amazing. The crust is bubbly and holds up yet very light and crispy from the fire. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. It was cool enough when we went to enjoy the outside seating which is very cozy.

We really need to give this place a mix review while we enjoyed the food and we thought it was tasty. The surface was truly lacking once we didn’t order drinks and 20 appetizers. She seemed to lose interest. She brought the bill before the dessert even arrived, and I hadn’t even finished my pizza when she took the dessert order. We also got a big salad and a pizza and they charge us a two dollar sharing thing yes it was on the menu but is an appetizer and pizza meant to be shared. I don’t know if I would go back.

The service is great as is the outdoor, dog-friendly patio. Unfortunately the pizza was just so-so. The crust was soggy in the middle and had very little flavor - it would benefit from a longer rise time or a fermented biga to enhance flavor and a longer time in a hotter oven. Also, the tomato sauce tasted pasty, not fresh. But I'll go back and try something else, since the rest of the experience was great.
