We happened upon Paladin in downtown Winchester this afternoon and stopped for a late lunch. My mom is hard to impress and she loved everything about this downtown spot. The eclectic decor. The service was superior. The food delicious. On a blustery, cold afternoon, we chose the weekend special of a generous cup of roasted peppers and corn bisque. It was the perfect blend of heat and heat, just fantastic! (Spicy too). The fish tacos were good. Their sweet pico, especially tasty....
There is a parking garage one block away, easy walk. A parking lot adjacent to the restaurant has a crossbar blocking use. The entryway doesn't block the wind, which goes straight back to the bar or up the stairs. On a cold night like tonight, it was extremely uncomfortably cold inside. I would guess below 60, we had to wear our coats and were still freezing.

Paladin Downtown is easily one of the best spots in Winchester. The vibe is always great, the atmosphere feels welcoming, and every visit leaves you wanting to come back.
