I stopped by Peppernill in Winchester for breakfast, and it was a great start to the day. The food came out fresh and hot. The toast were perfectt, the pancakes were fluffy, and the coffee was strong and smooth. The place was clean, and our server Kristen was friendly and attentive. The portions were generous for the price, and the service was quick. A solid spot for anyone looking for a good, hearty breakfast in town.

I can see why people want to give this place five stars. I came here for dinner on Friday September 21st 2018 while driving home from Cumberland back to DC. I had a really wonderful dinner. I had a lovely server named Amanda who I made sure that a token of my appreciation was provided. I would rather support a fine local business that cares about the people they serve and the community. The steak and everything was excellent very I am nice and full and now I want to go home. Job well done I hope you have food with you all again.

After being a patron since the place opened and I was just a kid, I have to part ways. My wife, two daughters and I went there for a late breakfast/ lunch last weekend. One kid had pancakes. Wife and other kid had chicken tenders. I had the big breakfast. Pancakes weren’t cooked in the middle. Tenders were those cheap processed things. My home fries tasted like dish soap. The sausage gravy used to be some of the best around. Now, it’s abysmal. To top it off, nearly $4 for drinks? Our bill, with tip, was over $70. That is ridiculous, and Mr. Hockman is probably rolling over in his grave, seeing what his gem has become.
A perfect diner. Exactly what you'd expect. Quality fare at an affordable price.

Everything you want but can't find at big name / chain restaurants.
This place gives the family / household vibe that seems to be hard to find nowadays

Great place! Plan to eat here for sure!
First time visiting! Love the country look. The food is absolutely delicious! The waitresses are so nice! We found our new favorite spot! (And they have Pepsi!)
Had the meatloaf special with macaroni salad, and bread pudding. What a delicious meal! The meatloaf had red sauce and gravy and the bread pudding was exceptional. My waitress Esther was efficient and friendly.
Have always wanted to try papermill and finally got to and boy they didn't disappoint!! The coffee was so good it didn't need creamer or sugar and the breakfast was delicious!! All the servers and staff were so friendly!!! This place is awesome
Just had breakfast again and it was delicious I had the western omelette with potatoes and biscuits, my friend had pancakes and eggs with turkey sausage ( normally she doesn't finish all of her food but not today) and her sister had eggs and bacon with home fries and biscuits everything was delicious
