We were impressed with the quality of the food. The shrimp were cooked to perfection on a very fresh salad and the refried beans are very good. There is a nice salsa bar for chips. Did not care for the margarita which was weak in flavor and watery. Service was excellent up to the point of the food being delivered. After that we never saw our waitress and had to hunt down other staff to take our dessert order.
Nicely decorated, clean, plenty of seating. Very accessible, with booths and chairs. Excellent service! We ordered the taco salads off the lunch menu. It had a generous portion of mildly flavored beef, a layer of refried beans, some shredded lettuce and a dalop of sour cream. The shell was thin, crispy, and tasty. Nice part, they have a condiment bar, there you can spice things up, if you like. Love that the beer was serviced in a frosted mug!
If there were more stars, I'd give it to them. I'm a single guy and a vegetarian and have to cook for myself. It's not easy to find good vegetarian menus outside of my own home. The service at Rancho Nuevo was great. The food and drinks came out quickly and were specular. I immediately texted all my friends and said it was the best Mexican food I ever had.
