This was my families first time at Sclafani's New York Bagel, and first impressions are very important.
I will say the parking was a little challenging, but I soon found why.
There were people sitting outside like a big fun community, lots of laughter and social smiles. So I already had a good first impression when I walked in, and then the line went fast, even though it was longer than I intended it on being. But NOW I SEE WHY!!!
This place is amazing.
My kids are picky and with my husband being from Long Island, I was hoping this would live up to his New York standards and it did!
My kids enjoyed their breakfast bagels and my husband enjoyed the abundance of cream cheese.
Will most definitely return.
Need to try that cheese steak I have heard of

Great water boiled bagels, and they make some good subs too!

Always amazing and great service. The cashier is sweet, kind, and professional. She handled a complaint with poise. The woman was extremely rude to her.

This place has some serious issues with they’re hours anytime my girlfriend and I want or think about this place it’s always closed or bouta close it doesn’t help it’s a 35 min drive which is so upsetting when this place definitely is one of the best bagel shops I have had. I guaranteed if they were open for just a couple more hours like 2 minimum they would haul in so much more revenue.

The food is good but expensive for what it is. The service is sub par. Waiting at the register when I was the only customer and having the staff ignore me was a big turn off. I won't go back.

Hands down the best bagels in the area with incredible and friendly service. Even when it's busy, there's hardly any wait to get your food. But even if there were, it would be worth it.

We have ordered from Sclafani's on multiple occasions for company meetings! The orders are always accurate, prompt, and quick. We have ordered ahead online and we have gone in day of and ordered. Both ways have produced the same results! The employees are so kind, welcoming, and understanding. Even when Sclafani's is slammed, they continue to greet and work with each customer with a smile and a positive attitude. We love Sclafani's and will continue order!

Ordered a bagel “toasted” with cream cheese. They failed to toast it. Also ordered a caramel iced coffee. And they set a cup with ice and syrup on the counter and made me make it on my own. It’s just disappointing that such a simple order was made with such laziness and lack of care for what they’re providing

Scrambled egg on a bagel shouldn't be full of egg whites that were cooked first then stirred around. Get it together. Crack egg into cup or bowl, mix with a fork, then cook. Easy peasy one would think

I love this place. By far the best bagels and lox sandwiches around Winchester.
I was looking for a coffee shop near my car dealership to work for a bit and found this lovely coffee and bakery/bagel shop. For a middle of the day, Friday afternoon, it was packed! I haven't been in this busy of a bagel shop since actually going to New York City! After trying their cranberry bagel with the FOTM keylime cream cheese.... I can see why it was so busy (but still very efficiently run with minimal wait)! Wow, delicious! Also helpful was free wifi and tables to work from while I waited for my car.
Excellent bagels. Great staff.
The price is reasonable, the staff is always super friendly, and the food is always SO GOOD! They never miss!
As a busy local Realtor nothing is more important to me than family time. My kids and I have a Sunday tradition. We hike around Sherando then get brunch at Sclafani’s! This place is always so busy but the staff is truly wonderful. The young lady that greets us is always so kind to my kids and a great person in general. The food is always perfect. Our go to items are bagel sandwiches with sausage egg and cheese, French toast bagels and a loaf of bread to go that makes great garlic bread or meatball subs! This family owned business will not disappoint. Tell them Chris Roszko the local Realtor sent you!
