Yesterday I visited Thai Lotus and I want to start by saying the food is excellent. The portions are generous, the dishes come out quickly, and everything tastes delicious. The kitchen clearly does a great job, and the quality of the food really stands out.
However, I was very disappointed with the condition of the floors and overall cleanliness of the dining area. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning and better maintenance. A clean and pleasant environment is just as important as good food, as it greatly affects the overall dining experience.
I truly believe that if the owner improves the cleanliness of the space, Thai Lotus could offer a perfect experience, because the food definitely deserves it.🤢🤮

Yesterday we had lunch at Thai Lotus in Winchester, VA. Everything was absolutely perfect. Every entree, every appetizer. I had the Pad Thai with seafood, Thai hot. Could not be better. You can tell each entree is prepared individually, critically judged by the chef for appearance, taste and overall perfection. The food is worth at least twice the price. It's well worth what you pay for. We have been eating there for over 1 year now and everything we have ordered has been perfect.

Fresh roles were huge but lacked much flavor. They were so big after one or two bites they started to fall apart.
The spicy eggplant with chicken was ok. Sauce was good but the eggplant was over cooked. I asked for Thai hot and it wasn't that spicy, 3 out of 5. Waiter never came back to check one or refill my water.

I ordered DoorDash Thai Lotus last night just after dinner time. The panang curry I ordered was the weakest curry I’ve ever had. The only hint of a flavor in it was spicy. Not chili paste, flavourful spicy. Cayenne pepper, spicy spicy. The curry had the colour and taste of milk. I paid $20.00 for spicy milk. I’m very upset and very disappointed. The pad Thai came out good, according to my sister.

Flavor bomb. Food was well prepared and presented. It's easy to tell when the chef knows how to build layered flavors and textures. Highly recommend for a low key dinner with high end flavors.

All About Good Service
I have ordered here frequently, but I generally get to- go orders. This one evening I decided to eat- in. The lady that always take the orders and collect payment was not pleasant. Her disposition was off-putting. I was trying to get her attention to add an appetizer and she came to my table when good- and-ready. Mine you, no one was in the restaurant but me. I have not brought food from Thai Lotus since this time and will not eat there again!
My favorite place for Thai food. Their food is always delicious and always consistent. Service is great. Restaurant is clean, staff is friendly.

The tom kha soup was excellent! I ordered for pick up and it was ready quickly and stayed hot all the way home. Very nice and comforting for a chilly autumn afternoon.
