It was very over priced for what we got both for the food and the wine. It was $30 for five shrimp and a small amount of crab on top each. Then for the cheese place consisted of a store bought crackers that were a bit stale, a few small slices of cheese and a few strawberries, blueberries, nuts for $25. It seemed to just have been thrown on the plate with not much care. The wait staff seemed like they all hated their jobs (except for a our waiter who was pleasant when he stopped by the few times). They seemed to be more interested in watching the TV than serving customers. It was a real disappointment given how highly reviewed this place was.

My goodness this food was good! Our waiter Patrick was also amazing. He was very friendly, attentive and upbeat. We got the meatballs, lobster mashed potatoes, and crab cakes, but the absolute best thing I have had in a long time was the fire roasted Fuji apple and caramel brown butter cake! The cake was so good my Husband and I finished it in 2 minutes and ordered another one! We will be coming back!

This is usually where we start date night. The staff is always pleasant and the dinks are always well prepared.

More than a wine bar! Really top notch bartenders and every drink on the menu is perfection. They will happily improvise any cocktail you suggest and are knowledgeable on spirits. This place can compete with any bar in the city.

Can't express how awesome the staff is. Every time I come to the Wine Room I feel like family. This last time I forgot my backpack and one of the staff members ran down the walking mall to make sure it was returned to me before we got too far away....amazing...5 Stars!!!!

We stopped in for evening drinks and food. The three of us sat at the bar and we immediately felt welcomed by the staff. During the duration of our visit they talked with us about different wines and I was even introduced to gin that I absolutely loved. I am not a gin drinker so this experience definitely stands out for me as they took the time to learn what I enjoyed and served based on that. I can’t wait to go back.

Literally the very worst dining experience of my life ever, and I've had food poisoning from a restaurant. This was worse. Rudest, most inconsiderate staff I've ever met, ever. Took our drink order and never returned to us. Ever. Passed us several times to go sit with some friends and laugh and enjoy his night, two tables from us and never brought our drinks, never said a word to us. A half hour after ordering our drinks and never receiving any service from the boy who had no other tables to tend, we realized he had no intention of bringing us our drinks, so we left.

I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone at all ever.

Exceptional Experience at The Wine Room

The Wine Room at Taylor Pavilion deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. Patrick, the bartender, was beyond exceptional. His off-menu drinks were even better than the ones listed on the menu, showcasing his creativity and skill.

The food was above par, bursting with flavor and demonstrating a unique, out-of-the-box approach.

I am thoroughly impressed and will 100% be back. This place is definitely going to become a frequent favorite of mine. Highly recommended!

I don't often give 5 stars across the board but this place deserves it. Very attentive (borderline too attentive but it's hard to knock someone trying to do their best). Wine list is full coverage whether you want a bourdeux or a vigonier. Well crafted and balanced cocktails and though I only had a Mediterranean flatbread, the ingredients were so fresh and well proportioned that I can only imagine that if all other options met that bar it's bound to be delicious. I wish they opened up the doors for the breeze (strictly for the sake of air not because it needed it) more but the atmosphere was not wanting for more. Enjoy.
