I’ve given Tropical Smoothie TWO chances, and both times were absolutely awful. The service is non-existent—employees walk right past without so much as a hello or acknowledgment. On my most recent visit, I stood there waiting for EIGHT minutes while staff ignored me, so I finally just walked out. The first time I went, they didn’t even get my order right, and the food I did receive was disappointing at best.
If you’re looking for good food and decent customer service, this is definitely NOT the place. Completely unprofessional, disorganized, and not worth your time or money. I will never be back.

I bought a peanut paradise smoothie which I frequently order at other TS locations. This one is so watered down and disgusting that I can't drink it. It was hard to understand the staff and I'm traveling so I'm just going to throw it away. Sucks. Waste of money. Avoid at all costs because they are clearly avoiding all business costs. Wish I read the reviews, but again, traveling. Yuck.

The food is decent. The smoothie I got seemed to be missing some flavor. It also was very hard to drink. Very Icy.. I have been to many tropical smoothies and this one did not taste the same or as good as the others.

My first visit to Tropical Smoothie Cafe was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Chai Banana Burst smoothie and the Baha Chicken Wrap, and both were delicious. The wrap had a generous portion, and the smoothie tasted refreshing and flavorful. I truly loved the experience. Whenever I’m nearby, I’ll definitely visit again. I highly recommend Tropical Smoothie Cafe to others—come try their food and smoothies!

Awful, overpriced food. They charge several dollars more in store than on the app, which is unheard of. I’m a frequent customer of TS, and while passing through Winchester I stopped to grab a late lunch. I ordered a wrap with plant-based chicken, which is usually a $1 upcharge. They tried to charge me $2.50. I then asked for a banana for the side. They again tried to upcharge me for something that is meant to be included. I told her to forget it and stood there and ordered on the app instead, with the normal prices.
I then received my wrap. A wrap full of plant based chicken, with 2 leaves of spinach (I paid $1.30 extra for those 2 leaves), a few shreds of lettuce, and maybe one tomato slice. To top it off, it was drowning in buffalo sauce. It was sincerely so disgusting. It was like drinking buffalo sauce out of a tortilla. I took a few bites and threw it in the trash. I’ll be sure to pass this one next time I’m in the area.

The employees here are not good at their job. They let the receipts pile up and didn’t give me or even offer to give me my receipt and instead just quickly went to the back to continue laughing with her friend.
Also I’ve been to other tropical smoothie cafes and they have all had better quality smoothies and açaí bowls with bigger portions. The smoothies I ordered tasted NOTHING like the same smoothies I used to order at other TSC’s so that made me wonder if they just used random fruit back there or didn’t measure properly or what but anyways it just wasn’t a pleasant experience here. I won’t be coming back here.
Now this next part is a bit of a side note and I understand there isn’t much that can be done about it but if the employees have an accent and can’t speak where everyone can reasonably understand what they are saying, then something needs to change so people don’t get orders confused.
I don’t like posting negative reviews - real businesses are impacted horribly by them - but this is a new level. 14.95 for a smoothie and a wrap. The wraps use to be fairly large - I'm fine paying for some quality. But this is minuscule, and arguably not in alignment with the standards.
It’s a shame. TS use to be a good value, and now it’s significantly overpriced for what you get.

This tropical smoothie is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I visit the other tropical smoothie in Winchester off of pleasant valley frequently and only get the Bahama Momma smoothie with extra coconut. Which I pay for. Each time I visit this location the smoothie is horrible. It has zero taste. I asked the worker if they would remake my smoothie because of it not tasting right and the worker made a phone call to management and came back and said no, it’s a 10 dollar smoothie but we can’t remake it like the other. Horrible horrible horrible customer service. You can not understand anything being said to you. There is a language barrier. Which the end result is negative. I paid 20 dollars for something that tastes disgusting. DO NOT WASTE YOJR MONEY OR TIME AT THIS TROPICAL SMOOTHIE!! I WILL NEVER BE A RETURNING CUSTOMER HERE!! They do not follow the tropical smoothie way and remake your smoothie. This location was my very first job and if the customer asked it was remade and at the pleasant valley location they do the same thing! Felt very disrespected and very upset! I know this will not change the smoothie but maybe it will prevent another customer from having to go through this experience and pay for something that tastes like dog shit!
