Where do I start. My husband was told how good this place is. Well is not! We walked out with a $63.88 for 3 drink, 1 glass of Chianti, 1 order of fries, 1 order of mozzarella sticks, 1 child spaghetti with meatballs (as described in the menu but it was just one lonely meatball), and 1 dinner entree of veal Parmesan. So the fries and mozzarella stick good for frozen, but the dinners YUCK?. The spaghetti sauce was heavy on the garlic and it was canned sauce, the spaghetti was over cooked mushy, and the veal was two frozen pieces of veal. $18.99 for veal I was expecting fresh veal. The service was not good either, she took for ever to come take our order then she literally took 5 minutes to get our check after she brought a box for our dinner. Not very attentive during our dinner. Then my drink which was supposed to be 1/2 lemonade 1/2 unsweetened tea tasted like either the tea or the lemonade had been sitting to long. It had a horrible aftertaste. I ended up asking for coke instead and I did that to another waiter as our waitress kept disappearing and they only had like 4 takes between the two of them. All in all horrible experience and food. Don’t waste your money.

Excellent pie!

Food is basic but good, and at a reasonable price. The add on side salad is 99 cents and well worth it! I was expecting the bread stick to be basic and if the Olive Garden variety, but it’s actually baked from their fresh pizza dough - so excellent! Waitress was lovely! Atmosphere is not bad/nothing special. I’ll return and try a pizza next time!

Food is always decent, it's just a toss of the dice if you get the right order. they also toss thier salads in dressing for to go orders. wierd. probably won't come back

We had a great meal here after a long day on the road! We really enjoyed the homey atmosphere, delicious pasta and pizza and eating somewhere local. Our server was very kind. If we are ever passing through again we will definitely stop by!

Kid-friendliness: We had our 4 and 8 year old with us and the portions of the children’s menu were quite large and satisfying. They both ate their entire meal which doesn’t always happen when we go out.

We stopped here after a long drive while traveling. Great service and the food was excellent! We got the bruschetta (fantastic!), pasta bolognese and a pizza. Everything was extremely tasty and frankly, much better than we expected. Seriously, take a chance here. It’s worth it.

I was staying at the Sleep Inn and had been on the road all day. It was a weekday. I needed dinner, but did not want fast food. I thought this place would be a way to get a real dinner. I tried calling, no one answered. So, I drove over and walked in to place an order for carry out. There were only 2 tables with customers, all the other tables were empty. The 2 men in the dining room ignored me. So I walked up to the register and saw menus and a sign about picking up to go orders. 2 women behind the counter refused to talk to me. They ignored me. I asked them how do I place an order to go. They walked away. A man came in to pick up his order. But the women continued to ignore us. I didn’t want to be rude, I kept patiently waiting. He said loudly to one of the women that we needed help. They ignored us. He then yelled “HEY THIS LADY NEEDS TO ORDER FOOD, WHY WON’T YOU HELP HER?” And they still ignored us. I walked out. Would give zero stars if I could. I did find a local diner place where they were polite to out of towners.

The food is "ok" at best. Its nothing special to go out of your way for. Unfortunately just like everyone else, they have raised their prices for smaller portions of food. Just like the rest of corporate america, all they care about is maximizing profits.
Ive lived near this place my whole life. It used to be the best in town for a while. Im really disappointed that tonight will be my last time going there.

We had delicious Italian subs for lunch, even had dessert, a slice of Mango cake and an order of Tiramisu, both sooo good. We will definitely go back and try their pasta and pizza entrees.

Best pizza pie in town hands down. I’ve searched high and low, where’s the best pizza? Go to Umberto’s. Very good pizza and my steak and cheese was excellent. The kids loved the chicken tenders and fries. Stole a few fries and they were very good as well

I went to Umberto's for supper tonight. The menu looked excellent and it was difficult to choose from many delicious looking items. However, a lady had told me their subs were excellent so I ended up ordering their steak and cheese sub. It was easily the best sub I have ever eaten. Tasty and juicy with the right mix of ingredients. Their sub buns test fresh baked, just the right thickness and are absolutely delicious. Next time I am passing through Winchester i will return to Umberto's to try another of their highly recommended dishes.
