This is truly your favorite neighborhood bar and restaurant. The food is awesome, drinks are cold, and the STAFF are the best part of this place. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a great meal with wonderful service.
I ordered the kids fish and chips and got a large piece of cod, too big for a child and my husband ordered the fish sandwich, which came out with two tiny pieces of fish that was swallowed up by the large bun. We just exchanged our meals, but they need to rethink their portions. Probably will not return since they’re not the cheapest place to eat for the portion sizes. .
What a great vibe for an evening cocktail! We had a one night stay in Winchester and decided to do an after dinner stroll in the Old Town area when we wandered into Union Jack. The new owner, Jason, really made us feel welcome and shared with us his vision for this long time establishment. Great bar. We were there after the kitchen closed so I can't give a review on the food but I would bet it's good! Jason is working hard to be top notch on everything!
