Excellent food, drink, and service! Crab cakes and the Cannelloni were superb!
Quaint, warm environment - great for a large gathering. The drinks are phenomenal! Stunningly beautiful and deliciously smooth. Worth every penny!!
I don’t think I could recommend the lobster roll enough!
Excellent brunch with unlimited mimosas and bloody marys. Service was excellent.
The restaurant is clean and well maintained.
Had the chicken and biscuit, the chicken was over cooked but overall the meal was tasty.
Probably the best restaurant in Winchester.
Menu online doesn’t match the menu in house. Popular items were not available for dinner menu at 6:30pm for Mother’s Day. The Children menu is horrible. Wait staff was slow and very bad. Out of desserts. But did serve a strawberry shortcake with bugs in it. Gratuity Charge as a six person table with the sixth person being a 9 month old. Had waited over 40 minutes to get bread and had to chase the waitress down to get check. we asked for the check she offered more like coffee and ran off. Not a happy Mother’s Day dinner experience. This isn’t the first time we have experienced something like this even bring people from out of state to rave about this place to be let down. But enough is enough. No more Village Square. Also chef lay off the Salt!
Food and drinks are consistently delicious. Service is wonderful. It’s our favorite date night spot. No notes.
Easter Happy hour Brunch was exceptional! We enjoyed everything. My salad, Salmon, and Italian lemon cake was perfect. Husband enjoyed his raw oysters, crab cake and lemon sorbet. Oh and did I mention the mimosas. Wonderful!
Dinner always great. Staff always friendly.
The NC shrimp, grown up grilled cheese, and the scallop salad were all top notch along with excellent service.

Food and service were lovely, but it did not make up for our initial request. We arrived at 1:15 on Saturday. There were 3 tables outside with total of 8 patrons and 2 tables inside with a total of 4 patrons. Place was empty with grand total of 12. We (party of 2) asked to sit in the large booth by the window. Answer, "No, we save that for parties of 8." Hmm, there was no one there AND IF a party of 8 arrived, there was another 8 top at the adjacent window. When we left, no one was inside and outside, 2 tables with parties of 2. Thank goodness there are plenty of other cozy options within blocks.
Great staff! My favorite menu item - diver scallops with asparagus and risotto with corn, all perfectly prepared.

12$ Beet salad was a soggy mess.Must have been dressed a couple hrs before serving as the greens were very wet.Plus it had NO flavor. The risotto that came with my scallops was watery bland and tasteless,The asparagus was over cooked equally bland. Fine dinning prices with inexcusably poor execution. There's a lot of restaurants in the historic district and I don't know if they're all over priced tourist traps but stay away from this one.
