Idk why I even came here. Husband wanted breakfast for dinner on a cold Friday night. It was mediocre, cold inside and overpriced for what we got. The only saving grace was the waiter who was pleasant. Note: the hash browns were super lame-o with a slice of American cheese barely melted on top. There are better choices in Winchester.

The place was to cold this morning. Food was hot when served but cold when finishing meal. Rest rooms were like a refrigerator, just as cold as outside of restaurant. Food was okay, not as good as other Waffle Houses.

The best thing about Waffle House is that it hasn't changed in over 40 yrs. Same great food good people and nice laid back atmosphere. Home fries scattered, smothered, covered, topped, and chucked with 2 eggs over easy. Put it all together with the chili on top with a side of white toast. Perfect meal that I've been enjoying since the 1980's. Thank you WH for keeping your ethics and hone town feel alive.

Shirley was wonderful. The whole kitchen greeted us when we walked in. Made us feel very welcome. Everyone was smiling and friendly.
Sat there for 10 mins with the waiter or waitress (couldn’t tell) looked at us many times and never once acknowledge us. But made sure their friends were taken care of.
