Their location on 522 is permanently closed as of one month ago. They are in the process of opening a new tasting room in downtown Winchester. Hopefully this saves some people from arriving to an empty tasting room since Google says it's open

I had an issue with a purchase from a store that I made, got an expired 4 pack of Malice that had gone bad- the grocery store wouldn’t take it back because it was alcohol… even though they probably caused the issue by improper handling or let it sit on the shelf so long… Anyway contacted Winchester Cider Works and the owner made it right- and the fresh pack tasted great! Excellent customer service !

I came across Winchester Cider Works while working in Winchester VA and I'm glad that I found it.Honestly, I didn't consider myself a Hard Cider person but this company change my mind about what I thought cider was all about.My favorite and I would recommend trying is Malice.

I have an unfair opinion, I am a local and regular at this establishment. They do however have some of the best cider in the valley. Their flagship series is a must-try and they are constantly introducing new ciders. A must try of visiting or a new spot to become a regular of your local. All are welcome.

We stopped in while in the area. We got there when they opened and the bartender was Rodney, we was great! He got a huge rush but was able to help everyone and make it personal. The cider was top notch and a great atmosphere.

The staff was very friendly and informative. They had a wide variety of flavors, and my dad and I got a flight each. We were happy with what we got. The cider was a bit dry, but they advertised it as such and it was very good.

As it is just off a major road, there is no outside to speak of. The dark inside is initially not a great turn on. However, the artwork is appropriately thematic, and the ciders are pleasantly above average. I'll be glad to go back again.
