We lived in Windsor for 4-5 years, Hong Kong was the best Chinese place that we’ve gone too. Their food was always on point. The people in there watched our children grow up and were always extremely friendly and welcoming, they definitely have the hometown vibes. We’ve moved out of state a few months ago but we still talk about Hong Kong, if only we could find a restaurant like this in our new area. We miss the delicious food! We’ll be dreaming about their general taos...
This is where we usually get our Chinese takeout. After our dinner last night I am rethinking this. The egg drop soup had almost no flavor and the house special lo mein was made with spaghetti noodles, not ramen or lo mein noodles. Definitely altered the overall taste. Did they not realize that it made such a difference? I’m very disappointed.
Pleasantly surprised. Truly good take out, reasonable prices. Their steamed rice isnt oily like the other place in town and the portions are fair. Down sides, no dine in, aesthetically not very inviting.
