I had been wanting to try this restaurant out for over a year and finally I decided it was time to stop waiting! I should have gone when I first wanted to because it was so good! The food was delicious, quick and filling! You can tell that everything is prepared in house and that they know exactly what they’re doing! I had the mixed fajitas, my husband had steak fajitas and my daughter had a quesadilla. We all shared the plantains as well. Everything was piping hot and everyone...

I come here with friends as part of a tradition. We go for cigars next door, and finish here at Almitas. If there’s one thing that I could recommend: Almitas’ Margaritas #almitasritas. The food isn’t the best, but after all, we don’t come here for the food. One Rita will get you feeling good. If your thirsty, and have the opportunity, stop by and grab yourself a drink. If you DO opt for food, get the chicken quesadillas.

I stopped by this location, because it was halfway between my destination. Not only was the food really good, but the service was wonderful. The gentleman who helped us out with charismatic, expedient, and above all…honest. It turns out, I had left my purse in the empty chair, he came out to the parking lot to give it to me. I will definitely add this to my rotation of stopping points. The Yuca and Chicharron were delicious as was the tamarindo drink.
