Always a great experience. From the friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff to the quality of the food and its presentation I can't recommend Bistro L'Hermitage more highly.
Hermitage never disappoints! The service is attentive without being intrusive; the food is exceptionally prepared for each individual's needs; and the ambience is always beautiful.
The food was delicious. The service impeccable. My one and only complaint is the tables are so close together that you can barely get through or have a private conversation. To leave our table, I couldn't pull out my chair or I would have hit the person behind me. Had to scoot out sideways. Parking lot is also very small and tight.
This was a magnificent meal. It's always great, but this meal was exceptional. It was a prix fixe meal for Easter. The choices were outstanding and plentiful. Everything we got was prepared beautifully. Service was wonderful as always. It was a great way to spend the holiday dinner. We will do this again; no question. Many thanks for a delicious meal!
Excellent service. Waiter was charming and attentive. Servings were generous and everything was delicious— well prepared. We like this place very much.
We had a very nice Easter lunch at the bistro today. The service is always impeccable. The food was very good. Always a special time.
A gem in a remote area. Must go to see. Also, there is an interesting bathroom.

I love the menu here. We've been three times since moving to the Occoauan area and we haven't been disappointed by anything we've ordered.
The servers are excellent. Their hovering is off-putting but only because we're used to a more relaxed atmosphere. The establishment itself is charming. Inside, it feels like my 96 year-old great aunt's house but I feel like that's what they're aiming for so kudos to them for pulling it off.
Overall, it's one of the best restaurants in the DMV. I can't recommend this place enough.

This was a wonderful restaurant for a weekend brunch. The service was excellent, very warm and friendly. Any server walking by our table was willing to top up our water or offer another drink. The food came out very quickly and tasted great!

Absolutely great food. Personnel very friendly, very attentive. It's pricey but for a birthday so it was worth every penny.

Let me preface this by saying dining at this place was an EXPERIENCE. The moment you arrive at this restaurant, you will immediately notice the whole place is surrounded by trees and flowers, much like your grandmother's garden, but without the pesky bees. The inside of the restaurant is so beautifully homy, it makes me want to start calling it "Mon chez moi!"(I'm not even French XD). The service, oh là là! A group of finely dressed professionals are waiting on you. They make you feel like you are the king of France! (without the guillotines, of course.) And the food, oh, the food! Each dish was made exceptionally well and crafted with care. The lobster was nice and fresh, and the duck was well seasoned. I often have to travel far north to the land beyond (Tyson area) to have such experience, and to have such a nice restaurant right at Woodbridge, I'm beyond thrilled. Now, if you live near the Woodbridge area and are thinking of celebrating an anniversary or planning a romantic date, you no longer have to drive 45 minutes+ to find a nice place! You can come to Bistro L'Hermitage and you will have your significant other thinking you're a true connoisseur of fine dining!(only if they like French cuisine; that's all they got here after all lol). But just be warned—your wallet might feel a bit lighter, but oh, the memories are worth every penny! If you don't live near here, come and give it a try! You might just find another place for your special occasions!

Not only does this restaurant have the best French cuisine I've had but it is also a perfect picture of hospitality. We regularly have Dennis as a server, and he exemplifies the high professionalism of the staff here. Always brilliantly knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about his vocation. We will be regulars here as long as we live in the area... and perhaps beyond. All around I cannot speak highly enough of Bistro L'Hermitage.
