This particular location has to be the WORST location. They are the slowest at cooking food. I ordered my food online at 2:45, to be ready by 3:20...Here it is 3:55 and my food is still not ready. I rarely come to this restaurant but when i do my food is never ready and i have to wait an additional 10-30min. It doesn't look like much has changed since they opened up a few years ago. Not to mention, they won't give Bonchon sauce, and charge a whole $1 for a small side of sauce. They havent had indoor eating for some time either. Not sure what happened but this location needs some help. They should also mention it'll take an hour (at minimum) before you'll get your food.
Food was good, but the service was very slow. Ordered online and the time they gave for pick up was missed by almost 20 minutes. I don’t mind it taking time, but the point of ordering online is for it to be ready when I get their. And this was during an off-peak business time.
very delicious chicken, fries and rice. I recommend it.
The food is always good here but there should be no reason that they are not doing dine in services. I felt like I stepped into 2020 going to this restaurant. Make sure that you order in advance because there is a 30 min wait time for your food!
I was in Woodbridge and craving fried chicken and thought I’d give Bonchon a try. I got the drumstick and wing and leg combo for 14$. I took three bites of a spicy drumstick and then saw a hair wedged into the skin. I had to throw the rest out. Severely disappointed in the experience I had here.
I've always had great things to say about Bonchon, and over the years, have learned that the quality of Bonchon depends on the location. As a local I've always been pleased to say the Woodbridge Bonchon is a great one. The food has always good and has held up since this establishment has turned into a take out only joint ever since the COVID lockdowns started years back. What's earning them this review today is the stellar customer service the onsite manager was able to provide this evening.I placed a 6:35 online order and was on time at location for my 7:05 pick up time. I found at least six folks standing around the register, with no staff at the register and instead standing around the bar backs turned to the customers waiting. Eventually around 7:15 one of comes to bring out an order and I inquire about my order and am simply told "it isn't ready yet" before she walks away to stand around the bar. I waited another 25 minutes with no food and spoke with a separate employee who informed me my "receipt was lost and they're making your order". Over an hour and a half after I originally placed my order, with me standing inside for 40 minutes, I'm finally given my order by the first team member I spoke with who gave me my food with no apology or other remarks. To close out this long review... what happened next was the onsite manager spoke with me per my request, explained the situation to me, apologized to me, and compensated me adequately for my trouble. He actually cared about my experience and set to make it right and make me feel better. I didn't catch his name but I've seen him there for the 5+ years I've been a frequent customer of Bonchon of Woodbridge and because of him I'll continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you
Make sure you order ahead. I made the mistake of ordering at the restaurant and there was a 35 minute wait and they don't provide anywhere to sit while you wait for your food. There is no excuse to not allow dine-in eating at this point, and at the very least provide your paying customers with a place to sit while they wait. And while you wait for your food there are 5-8 employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. Why do they have so many employees on the floor just standing around? Looks so unprofessional. That being said, the food is good.
Food is definitely not what it used to be. I don't know what is going on with this location but everything is burnt and over fried. I remember the chicken used to be juicy and addicting. Now it's like a 8 year old cooked/fried it. This place wasn't always like this but I've been noticing this over the past 6-7 times I've ordered here and I just brushed it off. I'm not one to ever be a Karen or complain. Ill eat anything if I'm hungry enough but Jesus people get your stuff together. I'll be going to any other chicken place from now on. Feel I gave this location enough chances. Edit: I got a response from the business and they said my "latest order" let me correct you. It was multiple orders
Order the fry chicken with fries. Although I order a carry out the fries were cold, the chicken was hot but did not have taste at all I order the baked naked chicken. I was disappointed for meal maybe next time it will be better.
This makes me sad to write this. However, do not eat here. This is not worth the money. I know the shortages have affected everyone, but this was simply not worth buying.Cons: boneless chicken are little dry chunks of mostly bread, there is no curbside(don’t opt for this. You’ll be waiting in your car for a while), dinner and lunch portions are similar in sizes(very small portions. Would not recommend coming here hungry) and very pricey for very little “okay” food.Pros: staff was pretty nice. There are many other options around this area for food, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

On this day, I had to wait an hour for my order. There were at least 5 other people in the restaurant, and another customer that was there before me still hadn't received their order when I left. As much as I love their chicken and bulgogi, I will happily take my business elsewhere if this inattentiveness and poor customer service continues, for what it's worth.
do NOT go here.1) the bibimbap is not at all as advertised. it had no flavor, almost no traditional korean toppings, it did not taste good.2) the wings barely had any meat on them. the first 3 bites of each wing were purely crunch.my boyfriend and i ate maybe 1/5 of everything because none of it tasted good. both of our stomachs hurt afterwards.also, they don’t have dine in service, and the lights were almost all off when we walked in, just not super inviting.i’ve had bonchon in the past and it felt like a true korean experience, but this felt like a cheap, american rip off.we were both really looking forward to our meal here, but unfortunately I would give it 0 stars if i could.
I have always loved Bonchon but I ordered pick up 12 pc boneless wings. They were nothing like what they usually are. It was clearly bought from a big box store breaded chicken nuggets not what they usually prepare. For reference I will add photos of what was expected (and have received before) and what I actually recieved. For the price it is not worth what I got. A lot of breading and little sauce. I will not be returning in the near future unless they change back. Or they need to change the pictures they show online cause it is clearly not the same.
So glad there is bonchon here! Def good Korean fried chicken! The only thing is I wish they asked if we needed tissue paper for takeout orders since you kind of have to eat with your hands and paper isn’t automatically included in the takeout bag (which is good because it reduces waste)
Foods just OK. Definitely NOT worth the line wait. Ordered on-line, and food is still not ready...15 min after it was supposed to be.
