I call last minute to order a cake and they even waited for me after closing hours!! Thank you so much for making my mother in law special for her birthday!!! Will definitely recommend this location!! This one and the one at falls church client since 2012!!!!

They open at 9 and if you want tamales you either have to buy them cold or wait another 30 minutes for them to warm them up. Coffee is Now $4.99 really? A lot of things to improve in this place

You have to walk through two doors to get inside the bakery. as soon as I walked through the first set of doors, it smelled almost like a thrift store or antique shop. It was such a strange scent. Also it’s not decorated in the bakery. It doesn’t give off “comfy little bakery” vibes..
It didn’t smell like a cafe or bakery.
It didn’t smell like anything had been freshly baked.
That was my first red flag. I decided to look at the baked goods they have to offer… it was mostly Latino/hispanic baked goods Which is no problem at all, I was looking for a tres leches cake. So that was perfect.
However, I wonder how long the baked goods were sitting in the display case for sale. Because the bakery was absolutely dead… no other customers, and they had so many baked goods. And it didn’t smell like something had been baked.
The ladies at the front desk were very kind and friendly though! They were super nice and ready to help me.
I really wanted to support a local, small business but I decided to just walk out, I was scared of wasting my money on possibly stale cake.

Melanie at Castro’s Bakery in Woodbridge is an absolutely fantastic person to work with and she and her team created an amazing cake for our family’s event! In particular, Melanie’s customer service was excellent and she did everything possible to make sure we received the perfect cake. We will most certainly continue to be customers of this bakery in the future not only because of the cakes they produce, but because of how well we were treated by Melanie throughout the process!

Loved the fresh fruit tart and mango creme cake with strawberries! Lots of choices for pan dulces, cake decorating, and some cards/pokemon toys. A little hard to see everything from outside, but great service!

Listen the best experience you can have. My person canceled last min but I came here the day before the dinner and was able to order to pick up the next day. It was done before the time I expected it was so beautiful exactly how I wanted. It even taste so amazing 👏 I got the buttercream with only strawberry. Thank you guys soo much

I decided to give the bakery another chance, but I was wrong, the cake we bought today for the birthday was super bad, dry in some parts, crumbly in others, I don't understand why they have damaged the products so much, I don't recommend this place.

3 milk cake. It tasted horrible. Parts dry and others literally undone. And the sweet bread is not fresh, all hard. James I will buy there again. Apart is very expensive.
It's a blatant theft with the prices, you don't know whether to laugh or get angry when they give you the prices, and it's not that they are of good quality to want to justify something 🙄🙄

It's rubbish. I paid almost 100 dollars for a miniature cake that they told me was for 15 to 20 people. I said at the beginning, okay, bigger disappointment, the truth is, and literally for 6 strawberries on the edge, 19 dollars more and I told them it was too small and they said. No, we can do nothing. The truth is, there are no words for how angry I feel. That's like a baby toy.
