Family and I have been to this restaurant a few times, and food is always great. I love the base sauce, and the waffles are awesome. The good sauce is so good! Also the music playing was good, I was having retro memories. Staff is friendly and attentive. Bring a jacket, AC is on. My favorite are the fries, with the chicken sandwich. We shall return soon. On a separate note, thatnks for clearing the way, after the snow storm. Stay safe.

Hot Chicken Kitchen is a really solid spot when you’re in the mood for good chicken. It’s crispy, juicy, and actually well seasoned. The heat levels are legit, so you can find one that fits what you like. I usually don’t even like crinkle cut fries, but theirs are honestly top notch. Overall, it’s a reliable place with good food that I’d definitely go back to.

Visited the Woodbridge location with my family. We were allowed to enter and sit down, but while waiting in line we were abruptly told from the kitchen that no more orders were being taken. There was no signage or notice about a cutoff time.
Management later acknowledged the issue privately but did not follow through afterward. I hope communication improves for future customers.

My girlfirend and I ordered the Phat Wrap. The food was great but the wrap was definitely not phat. Paid $30 for 2 regular sized wraps and left still hungry. I don't recommend.

My husband and I came to HCK for the first time in over a year. Danielle made our over all experience excellent through her hospitality and upmost customer service. She is kind, friendly, hilarious and worth returning for. Our food was delicious as we find HCK rarely disappoints. We learned HCK is under a new management which I didn’t seem to impressed by. We hope HCK will continue to uphold their high standards.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I arrived at 8:20 PM, placed my order, and was immediately told the bathrooms were already closed. When my food came out around 8:40, it was packed to go — they didn’t even allow us to eat inside the restaurant. We ended up having to sit in the café across the street just to have a place to eat. To make things worse, the chicken sandwich was terrible. The patty was extremely soggy and even pink on the inside, which was honestly concerning. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my visit.
Please just don’t go, service, worst i’ve ever seen, food, cold, RAW, and just seemed off. We came at 8:20 got our food at 8:40 and were told to leave because they were closing. If that was the case, at least say something prior so we can know what to do or MINIMUM say then kitchen is closed. Service was so bad to a point were they didn’t let us use the bathroom… Please stay away and even if you go, make sure you food is cooked.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for Hot Chicken Kitchen. Every time I come here, the food is honestly so good. The chicken is always fresh, crispy, and actually seasoned — not bland like other places. The mac & cheese and the loaded fries are my go-tos, and they hit every single time.
The Woodbridge location has really good service too. The staff is friendly and the food comes out fast, even when they’re busy. The portions are big, and you definitely get your money’s worth.
If you’re in the DMV and you like chicken spots, this one is definitely worth trying. I’ve been here multiple times and it’s always consistent. Super solid place overall.

Should’ve took a picture but I came here hungry with high expectations for this place, and i left never wanting to come back, i ordered 2 chicken sandwiches one was fine, but the other had an store piece of brown paper cooked into it, and then i asked to get another one and it took almost 15 minutes to get it because they “forgot”. Please whoever manages this place make sure your workers aren’t cooking paper into people’s chicken lol
