This is my go-to vegan Chinese restaurant, particularly due to limited options in Woodbridge. #Veganuary
It’s great that they offer veggie meats (like veg chicken, veg beef) but they haven’t been to my liking personally. They aren’t really what you’d expect and are dark and chewy. However, their tofu / bean curd dishes have been GREAT! Since moving to those parts of the menu, it’s become one of my favorite Chinese carry out restaurants nearby. Highly recommend the general Tso’s bean curd! Note: make sure you get the VEGETABLE spring rolls and not the normal spring rolls (the latter I think contains meat).
We have been going for over 20 years and still love it.

I’ve been coming here for years. The staff is so nice and always greets me with a smile. The prices for lunch and dinner is GREAT!

Delicious vegetarian selection.
The vegetarian menu consists of not just stir fried vegetables, but also lots of amazing soy based ‘meat’ dishes. I recommend their vegetarian general tso ‘chicken’. Very happy with the 2 times we have eaten from here.

I would not eat here again— food was mediocre and service was terrible. I have no patience for rude people who were more interested in playing his game boy than taking my order. Very surprised at staff in there. My first visit there and my last!

Excellent service and delicious food. Everything was served hot and fresh. The lunch specials are a great value and the regular dinner prices are reasonable. I love the chicken & broccoli, which they happily accommodate my request for white sauce with. The wonton soup has think skinned wonton in a flavorful broth.

Crab ragoons were top notch, A+. General Tso’s and orange chicken were pretty good too.

I ordered yesterday for my kid. Pick up said 5:42 we got there at 5:54 and it still was not ready. Picked up after 6pm there was egg shells in his chicken fried rice. Clearly a rushed dish.

This place had my taste buds on a yo-yo! The dishes went from oh wow, this is so tasty (crab rangoon) to ok (frozen/pre made Dumplings) to eww, what were they thinking? (chicken w/ eggplant) to this is excellent, (combination lo mein). What happen to the Chicken w/ Eggplant you ask? Well, it was MIA, I was curious to try this dish even more, since after I put in my order, the lady at the front came by to ask if I was okay with the Eggplant being "breaded", to which I responded, "regular bread crumbs or panko?" She proceeded to describe the coating on the General Tso's Chicken... "so you mean a batter?" I exclaimed in curiosity. Ok, I guess I'll try it... After splitting open three pieces of the item which were supposed to be the Eggplant, little or near to none was in there, it was mostly batter, clumps of batter, sorry, not the best dish, couldn't eat it, and they took it back. The wait staff, especially Pedro and Maria are awesome, they are very attentive and always come by to check if you need anything.I will be going back, as they have a large menu, and they never had the Spicy Wontons. The house chili sauce is terrific!

I’m sadly disappointed in my lunch order from Chou. My wonton soup was not at all warm ( not even the container) and so bland. The sweet and sour chicken tasted a bit off and had a brown vein of something inside one of the pieces . Overall the entire order was subpar and disappointing.

Was a regular for years, then I think owner changed. The food got worse. Went in to eat , was looked at and was turned away. There was no one in the place . Will never go back. I had just retired and wanted lunch, don’t need that type of people in my life. Thumb your nose at someone else.
