Yikes. What a massive, overpriced disappointment for my family. We used to come to IKEA a few times a year and look forward to the food a decade ago, but this is not the restaurant I remember. Everything we ordered has gone so obviously downhill. It tasted cheap but with ludicrous prices and was such a let down. Chicken tenders were overpriced ($14!), dry, and clearly old. The breading so obviously cheaper quality than what used to be. The fries were mediocre at best, soggy, shriveled, and gross. For the other meal, the chicken was rancid, the beans were flavorless, and the whole dish looked extremely unappetizing. The fish was no better! The cod was so bad my sister barely ate any. The Mac and Cheese was grainy, and didn't taste very good at all. How do you mess up Mac and Cheese that badly? We left the restaurant genuinely upset that we spent more than $60 on what was essentially microwaved leftovers and this is probably the last time we come to IKEA.

20250814 - Dirty looking staff with sullen attitudes. Swedish meatballs were good but the entire area was filthy with tables cluttered with dirty dishes and unwashed tabletops. Soda station was out of soda. Just incredibly badly run! Surprised how expensive the food is!

It was pre-dinner time so we came to order pretzels at kisok. Shortly there after, server called us to let us know she only had two and that she'll make a fresh batch for us. We were the only ones there and we ordered five pretzels along with some other things.

It’s IKEA, cheap but delicious food options with healthy choices and a great way to decompress a bit as you walk this massive store. They are currently under a bit of construction so you know but still a wonderful visit. January 2025

When in Virginia, I visited my favorite store. Great location, amazing deals as usual.
We were to this Swedish restaurant at lunch time, want to try some Swedish cousins. We were in the queue, good to have a trolly and tray too. Reached the desert section took one item then had some meat ball and salmon and breads. Made the payments and to the table, really enjoyed it by taking time, salmon was tasting excellent. It’s in our mind for ever.

The food in the food court on the first level got more expensive and tasted bad. One slice of pizza was almost 3 dollars. It was the worst slice of pizza. Stale, with a thick burnt crust, almost no tomato sauce and a thin crust of cheese. We used to grab two hot dogs for a buck and a slice of pizza for 1 dollar. Before the pandemic it tasted great, was cheesy and soft. Now it is just disgusting. The food in the main food court is ok but very overpriced. To pay that much for a reheated frozen food is not worth it.
