I wish I could rate the food but I never got my order after sitting in traffic to go pick it up I got a text msg like 5 mins before arriving to say my order was never placed and I have to wait 10days for a refund. This is why folks go through chain restaurant rather than supporting local businesses.

Lovely little place tucked away in a strip mall. We were on our way back to Reagan airport but didn't want to lunch in DC proper. We looked up some Japanese places and this one piqued our interest. Great sushi and lunch specials. We enjoyed our visit!

Jangko has very fresh and delicious sushi. I'm a lifetime sushi lover and have had it all over the country and this is one of the best restaurants for quality that I've ever eaten at. The owners are friendly and they make a point of knowing their customers. The place is clean and spacious. I definitely recommend Jangko.

Maybe not everyone will get this experience but I’m blessed I do. I’ve been coming to this sushi place for about a year I used to work very near it so I became very familiar with the owners who are the sweetest. They would see me every week at least and every time I came it always felt like home. I took on a new job which was much farther away so I haven’t eaten her in 4 months but as soon as I walk in the door they were so happy to see me as I was to see them she (the owners wife) immediately knew what I wanted insisted I sit down and be treated like a regular customer in the best way. They embraced me and made me feel wantedNOW THE FOOD is mouth watering and doesn’t make you feel bad after your done it fills your stomach and your heart I highly recommend anything they have to offerPlease come here with time to spare as the take their time to assure your food is TOP qualityThe most often you come the more they take care of you and make each visit personal ??❤️They make you feel wanted there’s a slight language barrier but the live and care they provide can be understood by anyone with taste buds and a heart❤️

My dad recommended we try this place so we all headed over for lunch on a Thursday. It's located right off of route 1 in a secluded shopping center so you wouldn't suspect a sushi place around. It was pretty dead for lunch time which could've been been a bad sign but it's whatever. Me and my dad both ordered the Sushi & Sashimi Combination and my mom got the Jangko Box 1. All our orders came with a small side salad as well which was ok. The sashimi and sushi combo was pretty good, tasted fresh in my opinion. California roll was ok, pretty standard. The Jangko box has some decent tempura and dumplings, but the chicken was a little dry. For the most part it was a decent experience, definitely should be getting more business. It can be a little pricey but it might just be worth it. The couple running the place are also very nice and friendly.

It doesn't look like the greatest from the exterior but this is one of my favorite sushi spots. Small staff but they work hard and go out of the way to make you feel at home. I've never really been disappointed with the food here, from the sushi, ramen, or bento boxes; it's all been quality. They have great lunch specials and usually give you some free appetizers while you wait. It's the definition of a whole in the wall, if you can get past the location; you'll enjoy some really great food.
