Fijate que my experience wasn’t that bad 🤷‍♂️

It was 9pm on a Friday and I really wanted pupusas. I’m not from Woodbridge but I was in the area so I tried ordering over the phone but they didn’t answer. I read the reviews and almost didn’t go but the pupusas were calling me. There were only 4 people dining in when I showed up to place my order. I ordered 5 pupusas to go and a pastelito. They said they didn’t have any pastelitos but I wasn’t trippin. The overall process is what I expected
- 15min wait time
- $2.50 ea (Never pay more than $3 btw)
- Revuealta is pork, cheese and bean
- You can pick up the pupusas and it won’t fall apart right away, a little bit of burnt cheese on the sides
- 2 little bags of red sauce and curtido each

I say a solid 8 out of 10 overall for the food

4 stars for not picking up the phone

Now, would I bring a family of 8 here and expect amazing food and service, probably not. Would I order soup from here? Lol, no. But I would come back for their pupusas to go.

The baleadas and agua de maragnon are so good

Plato especial and sopa de mariscos was on point as well!!!

Dining in is always a must due to the fresh tortilla chips with bean dip and queso 🚀

They do no answer phones to place orders and they take forever and the waiters have attitudes

Do NOT come to this restaurant. The service is slow and terrible. I waited 45 minutes for my food. Absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention, they add an automatic tip if 5+ people dine in. I go to restaurants all the time with my family, I have never had to wait over 45 minutes for food. It wasn’t busy either. The food was terrible and salty. Don’t waste your hard earned money on a place like this.

It's one of my favorites places at the Woodbridge area i just love to go there

Seems like a pickup order at this place is almost impossible. Can’t get one order right in three tries—either missing something or the wrong order.

The salty food was very bad, the meat and the tamales tasted sour, they were already bad and out of politeness we did not tell them so as not to hurt the waitress but the tip is only one or they take away so be careful because even after they have taken it away you will they put if you want to give them more. The truth is first time and last very bad experience

Chicken with slices is disgusting

I ordered food from Door Dash and what I received was disgusting, the burnt pupusas and the Cuban cake with spoiled chorizo.

Today I arrived at the restaurant and they complained to me that because I had left a bad review, well, I have the right to give my opinion, it's free to do so, and two people complaining to me, that's why I don't recommend this place anymore. I like coming because my son likes tortillas with beans, but they don't have to complain. Something that they did make was that a waitress threw a bottle of water that was new and without telling me, at the table was my nephew who had barely brought the drinks and I got up to the bathroom and the abusive waitress went to the table and took the bottle without telling me and That's why they're going to get upset for telling the truth.

Every time I go to eat at pupuseria la roca, their service is very pleasant and their food is very tasty and at a reasonable price... I recommend it ?
