I was seated promptly and then watched as two tables seated after me got waited on and their appetizers delivered (about 15 min). Finally, I had to call over a waitress just to get waters for the table and place our order. The food, which I had the potato and cheese chimichangas, was okay but it was a puree/sauce inside. The chips were cold and stale and the salsa was subpar. I never had my water refilled and was only checked up on to receive the check. The prices were not that great for the quality of food.

It was only my table of 2 and two other tables of 4 in the whole restaurant during my time there, so the staff should not have been too overwhelmed to serve us. Will not be back.

So first thing, the place is gorgeous and colorful and I loved the artwork in the tables and chairs. Unfortunately, nothing else was as good. Maybe it was an off night but I just did not have a good experience.

The table seemed dirty with something stuck on it. There was trash under it and chips debris on the seats. Our server seemed a little irritated that we asked for it to be wiped down.

The food was basic...while the fried ice cream for dessert was good, the meal wasn't very good. There wasn't much meat on the taco salad.

Our server did the bare minimum. It seemed like because we were two people, we weren't worth her time. She didn't refill our drinks, didn't check on us and kept trying to rush us out of there. The only time she did come over was to see if we were done and ready to go... a couple of times. She also seemed short amd irritated.

As I said, maybe it was an off night. I would try the place again, just to see if it was a one off.

Place was very busy but service was good and the atmosphere was amazing. Karaoke night was so much fun !! Definitely worth checking them out!!!

Came in for lunch and was told the “soda lines” were all down. We ordered two draft beers. They tasted like mold was in the lines. When we mentioned this, the waitress then disclosed “all lines were messed up”. My wife ordered the delux chimichanga and I got the Birria tacos. It took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Around the 20 minute mark, the waitress came to our table with a taco salad and tacos and seemed annoyed that this wasn’t our order. I then saw that order was packaged up and given to a door dasher who also was waiting around 20 minutes to pick up the food. When our food finally arrived, my wife only was given one small chimichanga. When she told the waitress she ordered the delux which comes with 2, she apologized and the second chimichanga arrived in 5 minutes which led us to question why our food took 30 minutes to arrive. The restaurant was not busy.

This will be the last time for a long time. Hectors of Lake Ridge has much better service with great food and we will be going there in the future.

You must try the Mexican jambalaya! High protein and some tasty! I enjoyed their happy hour beer specials and if I wasnt too tired I would have stayed for the dj. They host events throughout the week and I am hoping to try out their bingo. Plenty of seating inside, at the bar, and on patio. Service was excellent and speedy, as was our food orders! Already planning my return visit :)

Ordered at Los Toltecos after over 6 months hoping for a difference. Nope, there was no difference - flavor was lacking, enchiladas verdes with no verde sauce or cheese and the tortillas were barely done, and had to wait over 20 minutes after my order was due. I will keep using Don Sebas and the food trucks around. Just because it has a Mexican name, it doesn’t mean they know how to cook Mexican food.
