Another great visit, great food and friendly staff. One young lady was especially attentive to the customers while otherwise staying busy with her other duties. Ariyan stopped at our table with a smile bigger than the outdoors. Her checking on us, making sure food was great really added a nice touch to the dinner.

Employees are not friendly at all. They took my order and did not asked if I wanted sides. i did not remember they are ordered appart, because I was always asked ”what side dish do you want?” By the cashier and this time I was not. When I asked about it, the manager took some french fries that were ready i guess for a different client, and threw them in my plates. It was not what she did but the unfriendly attitude. They used to come to the tables and ask if everything was good and always have a smile on their faces. I had not come here in some years and it is a shame that the employees attitude is so unfriendly.

The turkey in my turkey sandwich was brined well. It was so moist, juicy and flavorful that it tasted like a Thanksgiving turkey.
Servers Ariyan and Jose did a superb job, encouraging me to sample as many sauces as I can.
It was the NC Vinegar that I basted the turkey with that made the turkey more extraordinary. The turkey became even more moist and flavorful.
I tasted all six BBQ sauces on the table, and I liked the Memphis Belle and Bay B Que the best, but no sauce was as good with the turkey as the NC Vinegar.
The banana pudding was creamy, tasty and had plenty of Nilla wafers.
The sweet tea and lemonade were incredible.
I loved everything I had.

SO delicious. Something for everyone - from my picky husband, picky kiddo, & baby 😆 We left a church event that had a BBQ vendor to go to Mission BBQ because their brisket, sauces, & sides are the best. Everyone enjoyed. We're only missing their seasonal sweet potatoes so we'll have to return this fall. 10/10 recommend!!

Great and delicious food as I expect, but the lady working at the front is so rude and you can tell she has an awful attitude. Someone needs to get her in check, I’m tired of dealing with it every time I come. Sad I have to give 1 star over 1 person ruining the entire experience. I don’t know her name but it was a black woman at the front, if I knew her name I would put that instead. Just awful

I’m going to still rate this place a 3 only because the food was ok however, the young black lady that wears glasses ruined my 1st time experience here, she was not customer friendly!! And if I ever come again I hope someone else can assist me.

Love this restaurant. I get the collared greens and brisket. You can get sides in 3 different sizes. I get my collared greens in the second size. They put tomatoes and onions in their greens, so if you don't like them that way, you may want to steer clear. I love them. I've also been there at noon when they play the national anthem. It's fine. There was a woman in the news that complained about it. It takes literally a minute, and it's over. It's also on brand for the restaurant. Anyway, the food is a little spendy but worth it in my opinion. There are sauces at all the tables. 6 to choose from. I always have the Memphis. Oh, I didn't care for the smoked ribeye. It's currently a special meat option. Mostly because I like ribeye cooked on a grill with crispy edges, smoking meat doesn't give ribeye the medium rare taste and texture I prefer.

I saw another one in Florida while travelling and went again but it wasn’t as good, the brisket was a bit dry and without flavor. I decided to try it one more time, this time at this location, Virginia. The brisket was exactly the same, dry, tough and tasteless so I am not sure what is going on, it is either not smoked properly or not long enough. On all visits the “sides” have always been very good.

Man oh man, where do I begin. This is my first time at Mission BBQ and man, they are the sweetest people on the planet. They were so welcoming and saw how hesitant I was and suggested items to try for my first time here. Jada was my server and she was the sweetest! After enjoying my meal another worker came by and gave us 3 strawberry shortcakes as a welcoming for our first time at Mission BBQ. Food was 10/10. Environment was 10/10. And of course Service 10/10. Awesome place and people!

Went with a large group and the staff was incredibly friendly, hospitable, and went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure our group was well served. Great food too. I had never been to a Mission BBQ before but this was made a top notch experience by the staff.
