Our server didn't identify himself, but he was nice, attractive and attentive. The food was okay the sirloin tips could be more tender, carrots and spinach was delicious. Caribbean Buffalo Chicken Appetizers were delicious and the other guest had Teriyaki Salmon, Rice, Spinach, Broccoli and the Ahi Tuna Appetizers were good. Old Fashioned here could use a hell of a lot of refinement it tasted like medicine instead of smooth and smoky. Otherwise everything was good.

Excellent dining experience. We've been to this restaurant many times over the years, and we always enjoy having dinner or lunch there. Food is fresh and tasty and the service is great.

The front staff was great. The food was also really good. Our waitress was horrible though. She forgot that we ordered appetizers, then never checked on us. We asked for a coke never got that. We did end up with a free dessert, but I really just wanted better service especially with how pricey the food is.

I didn't realize that they fry all of their foods in the same grease (beef, seafood, fries, fried onions, etc.). While they were willing to make some adjustments to how some options were prepared...this may not be the best option for those with a seafood allergy.

NYAJ is a little different than the standard Woodbridge fare. Their expansive menu offers
contemporary American plates for nearly any palate and their seasonal dishes flex the kitchen's creative muscle. The atmosphere offers three main sitting areas - bar, patio, and main dining room. Only complaint is that recently the service hasn't been as great as it once was with salads coming out without dressing or servers being unreachable.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. The atmosphere at this restaurant was okay, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by an incredibly unpleasant moment.

Our server was great, but as we waited for our food, I witnessed one of the food handlers sweeping the floor, using the dust pan and broom. Once done, I did not see him wash his hands. He then continued preparing the food dishes that had been ordered. As we waited for our order, I witnessed him pick up fries with his bare hands and threw them onto my baby’s plate, which was a huge turn-off.

The server brought that plate to me and I explained to him what I had witnessed and requested to have a new plate of food. When the server took the plate back to the kitchen, he mentioned to that food handler what I had requested. He took the plate from the server and slammed the plate down as if he was upset. It’s hard to overlook a situation like that, especially in a restaurant that's supposed to be maintaining high standards of hygiene.

The manager came over and apologized multiple times for what I had witnessed, as did our server. They both were very nice. The manager stated that he would have the order made again and he offered to pay for the meal. I told him that he did not have to pay for it, but that I wanted a new plate of food, he insisted on paying for it anyway. He also stated that the issue would be addressed.

After seeing something like that, I’m sure that we will not be back. Food safety is no joke.

Food was not good at all. I had the fish and chips. I switched to sweet potato fries. I think the food is frozen and cooked, not fresh and made in house. The breading on the fish was very hard with a bitter taste. Just not good. The fries were ok and the slaw was probably the best. Service was good.

Overall okay. The food was just average. We had a Ruben, a Chicken Caprese sandwich, and salmon dinner. I will say o was disappointed that the gluten free rolls you get for a substitution are the exact same.rolls they put a gluten free chicken sandwich on. I guess I was expectingn2 different things. I will say the service was great though and the prices were reasonable.

We really enjoyed our experience. We did a last minute reservation for Father's Day with really low expectations considering how busy things may be. To our surprise, we were seated at our reservation time with our requested accommodations. The food and drinks came out in a decent time frame and the food was GOOD. Will try again for other menu options

The charcuterie platter is truly impressive and you can’t beat the price - easily serves four. It’s the perfect happy hour choice.

Food was amazing. My husband got the Caprese sandwich and it was delicious. Very flavorful. Great menu options. I got mustard chicken and it was delicious. The bread they serve is my favorite. Manager came by multiple times to check on us. We celebrated our anniversary and were so glad we went there.

Food was excellent -- son loved his crab cakes appetizer and wife loved her clam chowder! Wife really enjoyed the Korean beef noodle bowl dinner and son thought his egg burger was fantastic. I tried the Italian sandwich...but was slightly disappointed it was a cold sandwich, as I was expecting a warm, pressed panini -- but that was my bad. The place wasn't very busy for dinner (Wed early evening), so we really liked the less hectic pace and really enjoyed our waitress -- excellent service! This was a great neighborhood dinner decision made on the spur of the moment -- highly recommend!
