I have never in my life been more offended and mortified trying to have a dine in experience with my family on a Friday night. Tonight I took my daughter to what I thought would be a pleasant evening out for a meal. I’m a single parent so going to drop $50 on dinner doesn’t happen all too often but it’s been a rough week. I was exhausted and didn’t have the energy to cook at home. I have some pretty serious mental health conditions that led me to obtain a service dog. The moment I walked through the door with my daughter and dog the manager was watching us like a hawk. He stood at the end of the aisle staring at us so hard that it made my daughter uncomfortable. For about 10 minutes he stood there watching us, before we could even get our meal he came over to let me know that yes they have to allow service animals into the restaurant but not emotional support animals. First off you’re assuming. Second it is against the law to ask someone to produce paperwork and third she had on a bright pink SERVICE DOG vest. I do have paperwork for her at home in my filing cabinet. I don’t carry it around in my back pocket as it is illegal to even ask for. My daughter was mortified so much that she asked for keys to go to the car. I had to stay and wait for our food and ask that they box it up. I had to ask them again for our dessert that was already paid for to come out. They did not provide any type of to-go utensils and I had to call the Springfield location to get the District Managers name and information (Luis Carbomell) I have been going to this establishment longer than Dan Wood the proprietor has owned the restaurant. I have seen managers come and go. Outback has been a favorite of mine and my daughter’s since she was 2. We used to have mommy/daughter date nights for Walk-A-Bout Wednesday. Sincerely disappointed tonight in my dining experience with the Manager Juan. Outback Steakhouse please do better as it is illegal to discriminate against those with disabilities.

Food and service is always top notch. Have some unique options and the beer is fresh and tasty. Just an all around great option to take the family out for a treat.

Great food and service, always!

We were at Outback today around 3:30 PM with my husband and son. Our waitress was a sweet young lady named Blue. Unfortunately, the guest seated across from us was extremely rude, demanding, and outright disrespectful toward her. Despite the yelling and uncalled-for behavior, Blue remained incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout it all.

The situation became so uncomfortable due to the guest’s behavior that we, as a family, felt compelled to leave. However, I truly wanted to give kudos to Blue for maintaining her composure and continuing to provide top-notch customer service under such difficult circumstances. She handled everything with grace and kindness. Job well done, Blue!

Ordered through the curbside service, their takeout professional was awesome and she took the time to explain why I wasn’t able to order a certain item for takeout. I appreciate being able to be able to tip the person in person as opposed to signing it on the check so I sometimes concern myself when I leave zero on that form, but I know what my intentions are.

Absolutely in love with this location! We came to have my son’s birthday dinner with family tonight and the whole thing was just perfect. Our server, Ashley, was amazing. We had a decent size group of 11 and she was on top of everything. We had three small kids with us and she made sure they all had what they needed and was so sweet to them. She worked so fast and was just so fun. She took my son’s birthday cake back to the kitchen to get it all ready for him and made a little table for it from one of their trays and tray stands. She and the manager on duty, Alejandra, put on all the little toppers I brought and the candles and made it look so perfect (my son was OVER THE MOON) she even came out to wish my son happy birthday along with Dan (the proprietor!) seriously the sweetest group ever. We can’t wait to go back again.
