They're fried chicken is delicious. Notice the smooth batter dipped skin layer ..... which is delicious btw. I usually don't like eating the skin layering on fried chicken but there's is hard to resist. Other fried chicken places tend to have a globby coating which is often too greasy. Occasionally you can find a Popeye's, Publix, Bojangles or another place that does it right but most can't compare to how these chicken thighs taste. Underneath that...
I ordered the 8 piece family meal,half grilled, half fried the food was fresh and hot, service was good,my only thing is going to the restaurant twice after my first visit they were out of grilled chicken how does this happen? And the wait time is un heard of like half an hour long?! No way this is one of the staple menu items, they should always have chicken on rotation! Either their is a wait or they have ran out completely!
This was a first time eating at Pollo Campero. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We will be back soon to try the chicken sandwich meal. The Mac n Cheese is so good. We used the coupons we received in the mail. Thank you.
