Found this as soon as we started to eat and so we did not eat or finish anything else for fear of finding another foreign object. I am just glad that an adult had ordered this and not a child. I called potbelly requesting a full refund but they refused because I used a third party (DoorDash) and they “don’t have access to that information” (the information being the money their store is getting…). This is not only a safety hazard but appalling. I’ve already tried messaging potbelly via Facebook, Instagram and their customer care email and nothing. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

12/17/24, this Potbelly in Woodbridge normally has decent enough service. But today, it was horrendously awful!! I ordered 2 regular sandwiches from the app around 3:30ish pm where the suggested pickup time was 3:43 pm. I live close by so I got there around 3:38 pm. The young man in the counter did ask my name for my order a few minutes when I arrived but unfortunately was not experienced enough to know that if I’ve been waiting for more than 20+ minutes for my order, a manager should’ve at least been notified to expedite my order. Anyway, people and their orders came and went while I didn’t get my order till past 4:05 pm. 30+ minutes after my appointment order. Which is kinda inexcusable. Very disappointed as the employees didn’t really seem to care that much about a very delayed order.

I went in to pick up an order and was told that since the order will be ready by time was 2:31 and when I got there at 3:40 due to traffic A lady named Rose said there was nothing she could do and was very rude .After the fact there was no refund run and I had left w/o any food or refund for the order .

I have been an occasional customer at this Potbelly’s; during the morning-afternoon hours, it’s always the best time to order from personal experience. I have ordered during the evening hours a few times and they have been smooth; however, I recently ordered online to pickup at this location and this time, I had to wait 30 minutes just to receive my order I placed 10 minutes prior the pickup time! Wasn’t a good 30 minute wait, as every other person waiting for their order received theirs along with customers also receiving their’s. I go to potbelly’s and still will but, the disorganization in the evening shift is pretty bad.

So I walked in today (09/01/2024) and I was checking out the menu and there was two employees (didn’t catch the names) but a young slim Spanish girl and slim Spanish boy with curly hair. I proceeded to order the TOASTED MARSHMALLOW SHAKE (which by the way isn’t all that tasty) and while I was speaking to the young girl the boy was tapping her like it was a problem that I was making a order and they both proceeded to laugh while I going to order something else I decided not to because of the customer experience I had received while being helped by them. Honestly if there was a rating for customer service I would give them both 1 star for their customer service today. Honestly when you are at work you’re supposed to be professional but I didn’t see that today.

Please don’t come and eat at potbelly, my wife order at chicken cheddar and the chicken was cold and the cheese didn’t even melt, she want to ask then to please heat the chicken and they just grab it and trash the sandwich they did another one and the same happen chicken was cold and cheese good as you can see in the picture, no just that we order ahead of time and we arrive and have to wait another 20 minutes, to be honest this was a waste of time and money, 100 I don’t recommend this Potbelly this place don’t even deserve one star ⭐️

I stopped by the establishment at 7:50 the lady asked me what I wanted. I asked a chicken BLT then walked little in line people are in front of me then the guy behind the counter asked me what I got, and I simply said a chicken BLT and he looked in the oven and then looked at his coworker and looked at me, and I was like it’s been eight minutes can’t simply make a sandwich she asked what I wanted you make the sandwich not worry about closing down the store. The customers are first.
I really didn't want to do this but this definitely needs to be expressed. I came here on my lunch hour and ordered from my mobile app 20 minutes in advance. All I ordered was a half skinny sandwich and a small cup of soup. When I got there it still wasn't done or even started. At this point, it was going on 25 minutes. Finally, the lady who appeared to be in a leadership position made my sandwich after I stood up there for about 5 min. She did apologize twice and said they had new people and were training. Regardless, they need to get a better system going and not just serve walk ins first and not focus on the mobile orders. It was crowded and they were all working but there was several of us waiting around on orders we put in way in advance. I should not have to wait 25 minutes for a simple sandwich that took 3 minutes to make, I watched her.
