I've visited Ricky's Chicken several times, hoping for an improvement in service, but unfortunately, each visit has been worse than the last. The staff is consistently rude and inattentive, even when I've been polite and patient. My most recent experience has prompted this review due to their complete lack of customer service and the expectation of tips for takeout orders. It's incredibly off-putting to be pressured for a tip when simply picking up food, and the staff's visibly disgruntled reaction when no tip is given is unacceptable. Beyond the poor service, the chicken itself is mediocre at best. It doesn't live up to the authentic Peruvian flavors I've come to expect. Furthermore, the sauces consistently have a sour taste, raising concerns about their freshness and safety. Overall, I cannot recommend Ricky's Chicken due to the combination of rude staff, subpar food, and questionable sauce quality.

This place I would consider a hole in the wall so right off I knew it had to be good. I got some buffalo wings all flats and birria tacos. The wings, I will not order again but those birria tacos were a burst of flavor in your mouth from the au jus(packed with flavor) and those tacos melted in your mouth. Writing this makes me want more. I did not get pictures but next time I will!

On Wednesday 18,2024 at 9pm I ordered a whole chicken plus a half chicken with 4 sides. The total came out to be 66$ when I got there but on the phone she had told me it was $53, our cashier was very rude, she was a tan Hispanic lady with big eyes and black long hair. She had put yellow rice when I wanted white rice, I expressed my preference about what rice I wanted and she gave me attitude. She rolled her eyes at us and stated “You didn’t even say anything about the rice and I don’t even know if I have enough, I think I have 1 container left from the day “ but made it clear that what I was asking was a hassle and she obviously didn’t want to accommodate. We ended up leaving instead because 1 she was being very off putting towards us and she couldn’t change 1 thing for us even though we were paying almost $70, she could have explained kindly if it really was something out of her control but no she was obnoxious and made it seem like i was just annoying her with my request. Lost a customer just because of her attitude.

Bad service, the two girls serve with a bad face and are not friendly. The food was salty and the chicken was dry and tasteless. The lomo saltado was salty. I will not return to that place because of the bad service.

I was making a delivery at the Giant Foods Supermarket when I noticed a Ricky's Chicken. I was not expecting a Peruvian and Mexican Cuisine, but I had walked over and committed to the place, lol. When I walked in I was greeted warmly, I had to take my time to read the menu. I Loved that there were pictures with the menu and prices shown. I tried the chicken quesadilla and it came with a salad and rice. The food was great. The service was quick. The tables were clean. They didn't have public restrooms.

Went here today and ordered a steak and cheese with extra provolone and extra mayonnaise. When I said extra mayonnaise, I mean it was extra too extra. Lettuce was old and the lettuce was mixed with carrots wtf. So I tried the steak and cheese I feel it could’ve been better but it had way too much mayonnaise. Also, the carrots didn’t help either. They dropped the ball on this one and could’ve had a potential customer. I think the problem with a lot of these cooks or people who think they are cooks and I’ve seen this quite often, is that when someone orders something extra that doesn’t mean cake it on or overdo it. I mean, you wouldn’t eat it If you paid for a sandwich and fries, and it was caked on with extra extra extra mayonnaise and old lettuce with carrots in it.So why would you serve it to me? Again, they dropped the ball and I won’t go back.

The person Vilma Villatoro scammed me by charging me a mandatory tip just for ordering 2 orders of meat, a terrible place, they treat you badly, they disrespect you and are too racist, I do not recommend this place, little professionalism and poor hygiene.
I want to say that their chicken soup is the BEST. The portion is generous. The vegetables are fresh and wholesome. Not overcooked. There is a balance of seasonings.
