A local young man made my day and I felt I needed to tell everyone about him.
The past freezing cold week I dropped into Safeway @5:30 PM at Merchant Plaza to get some supplies. Upon leaving I observed another driver struggling to get his truck started. I got distracted and hurried to put my groceries in the car and return the cart so I could help the dad get his truck started.
What I didn’t realize is that I left my wallet in the cart and worse did not realize it until 11:30 at night. Safeway was closed and would not open until 6:00 AM. We put all the credit cards on hold and was not happy about having to replace multiple IDs, and likely lost $300.00. The next morning I went thru the garbage cans thinking the worst and when the store opened checked the customer Service - would have to wait until 10:00 AM. Promptly called and discovered that they had my wallet, it had been returned by one of the Safeway employees - Alex!
It took another week before I could meet Alex and personally thank him and give him a reward. Several visits to the store working with the manager Robert learning about Alex and discussing what a great deed this young man did. I am truly grateful for the young people Safeway hires and for the ethics and morals of this amazing young man Alex.
Alex was a little bit shy, but understood just what I felt about his actions and how much I appreciated his kindness. I rewarded Alex with some cash…. Really feel great about our neighborhood Safeway and its employees!

My go to location for coffee. I like my macchiato in a certain way and the lady that works there (Sarah) knows just how to make it without even me saying it. And it is absolutely on point every single time. Friendly service, great crew. Highly recommended location!!

The first time I went there with my husband and walked up to the lady standing behind the counter surfing her phone and asked if I could order. She continued to say, no "were closed". There was no follow up as to why she was in uniform at the counter and the only response I could get it we're not open today.The second time my husband went and ordered a ham and cheese croissant warmed and the employee handed him one still in the bag I suppose they are shipped in and continued to say we don't heat up food here.Purely for proximity reasons we tried going there another time and were told they don't carry many of the ingredients a normal starbucks would so the White Mocha would not be available.I suppose if your already shopping there and by chance they have what u want then u could give it a try but I will be driving to another location.

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever received any grocery store product was advertised the register person would not mind would not recognize the price I will absolutely not be back until everyone I know to stay away from the Safeway

I didn't have to sign up to get the savings, just enter my phone number. And I could find the original captain crunch cereal. Food Lion must be having a shortage because I can't get the original.
plus it was nice to go in. I haven't seen or been in a Safeway since I was a little girl 40 years ago.
I've gone here 5 times and have been satisfied each time. 3 times i went because the other starbucks in the area had a ridiculous wait and/or was out of the drink i want. so far so good !

0 star from my experience, I visited 2 times and what a service!!!! I order 2 dragon venti size drink and was made wrong no strawberries no taste at all, and the venti turn out to be like a grande drink.. she is very rude and slow I waited 20 minutes for my order since she run out of ingredients. I will not visit this branch ever again please don’t experience it. don’t waste time.

Worst Starbucks ever went inside ordered my drink then shopped came back the drink wasnt made the barista only had 2 other drinks to make I ordered dragon drink with extra dragon fruit so I waited in the car for couple more minutes and came back in the barista didnt even start my drink so I told her never mind about the drink she told me she just had to go in the back to get the dragon fruit I said no that's fine I waited enough nearly almost 30 minutes for my drink

Barista Rochelle looked as if, she Hated!!! her job, the almost $5 cup of Chai latte was HORRIBLE, she filled the cup with mostly steamed milk, absolutely horrific
