This is my third time ordering from this place. Usually the chicken biryani tastes so good just needs more seasoning so I add more salt and chill peppers then it tastes fine. Today I order the same dish then I received lots of rice that looks like it was cooked at least 2 days ago with 4 tiny pieces of chicken. That’s it. A huge amount of old tasteless rice with a few pieces of chicken. To say I’m disappointed, is the least of how I feel. I paid almost 40$ for a takeout biryani chicken that was not worth it at all. Don’t think I will order from this place ever again.

Taste of Tandoori continues to be our favorite Indian restaurant. We’ve been regular customers for many years. Their butter chicken continues to be the best anywhere. The service has always been excellent and the food is so good that I always lick the spoon clean.

Truly one of the worst Indian cuisines I have ever had. Ordered the samosas; they tasted like dog food, chicken inside was cold, the breading was god awful. Then had high hopes for the lamb curry and it came cold and the lamb was overcooked and my sauce was not spicy. Will not be coming back

It’s been a long time since I’ve ordered from here, but definitely glad I went back! Went inside to order pick up (they have such beautiful decor!) I got the lamb curry lunch special and tandoori chicken wings. The wings and lamb had such good flavor and were cooked perfectly. The lamb was so tender, the best I’ve had so far! Look forward to trying other things on the menu.
This was our neighborhood go-to spot for the 3 years that we lived in the area. The menu had an entire section of vegetarian dishes, which is not uncommon for Indian restaurants but hard to find in Woodbridge. We loved the veggie samosas and pretty much the entire section of vegetarian dishes, especially the daal and shahi paneer. The food tastes fresh and homemade, sometimes the ginger is really prominent and other times the spices are stronger, which is proof that everything is made fresh and from scratch because food never tastes the same twice when it’s made from scratch. The servers are very professional and service is always very timely. The owner is frequently in the restaurant. The beer is served in chilled glasses. We already miss being regulars here, this was our favorite restaurant in the area!
